The Twitter thing amused and saddened me mostly because I get the picture of you guys in my head, staying up all night trying to find something to "get back at those evil twits" with. Most of the Lit people have names matching their screennames here, when your original post came out several people were talking about it, trying to decide if they read it correctly or not. Then it got into territories of "her post and the way she's laughing about it really hurt" and then sometimes it spilled onto this screen.

In the end what people think of you is none of your business, right?

No, deciding that words that have several meanings (even if you don't know what they are) and refusing to acknowledge it might possibly be true after multiple clarifications is you being unable under any circumstances to back down after you made a seriously bad, flawed and distasteful accusation.

Nobody had to stay up all night for anything. It took all of about 2 minutes to type in a single @handle last night to see what was going on, then another 5 or so this morning to see all of those handles that were now "not for public consumption". As you said, the twitter handles resemble their Lit ones for the most part, save a few.

Believe that or don't, I'm not here crowing about it being a great thing everybody should do. I'm listing it under "crime" and it's not something I'm proud about, but it is something that happened. To me it was an emotional and not a physical relationship, but was it still outside of what is considered lawful? Yes.

I was tipped off to a single twitter feed (which is now private) that lead to a whole lot of conversations about people here. Coordinated efforts to steer this thread and others. "I told so and so", "So and so is buying such and such", "Has anyone linked the thread yet?" and links to threads here where *GASP* the "A Team" all make appearances.

Call it whatever you want, but there's definitely quite a bit of clothes line gossip going on over on twitter about a whole bunch of stuff here. Call it a conspiracy, call it a concerted effort, call yourselves the fucking Moral Minority if you want.

The fact remains that there is a (not so until now) tight knit little group on twitter hashing out their Lit strategy.
