Thanks. I'm certainly not a hero, I'm just trying to figure out the shape of things and the how and why.

The original subject to me is mostly irrelevant other than in really provoking an allergic reaction in some people and checking everyone for identical described symptoms.

"Really? How did I cause all those identical (irrational) reactions in so many people all at once?" It's like 50 people suddenly getting a new symptom that has a description of "Doctor, I don't know why, truly I don't, but suddenly having this lady around is like having a swarm of purple mosquitos in my thalamus."

No actually, they weren't, but they are now. Otherwise how would anyone know that there is an entire meta conversation regarding Lit on twitter feeds? Feeds that were open as of around 9PM last night have now suddenly become protected since Reci pointed it out. Of course there's nothing at all nefarious going on there huh?

I probably only read about 1/4 of the thread until I turned the other 3/4 of it off cumulatively as time went by.

I told an embarrassing story not because it made me look good but because I wasn't afraid to tell it.

I stayed on Lit not because it was the "right" thing to do, but because I tend to not want to let the assholes win, unless the assholes can really prove I'm an asshole, which they can't.

I kinda like you. It's fun to post with you and with the other people who suddenly decided I was worth posting with after reading this thread.

I wouldn't be leaving because I people think less of me. I'd be leaving because people I thought were otherwise reasonably intelligent aren't worth talking to. Now with the way I see the place, I probably can't feel anything less than claustrophobic.

I'll have to decide if my random freedom of expression and bullshit posting of Country music is worth that ick factor.
