Crimes of Passion

I don't necessarily think that exploring the issue on the basis of an anecdote is harmful.

...It is an important conversation to have, about law, about justice, about appearance, about reality.

Indeed, so let's explore your "anecdote" a bit more, shall we...

... which state did the 14-year old reside in when you began your BDSM online relationship with him, and which state were you residing in at the same time? Which state were you both in when you and the 16-year old finally fooled around in the front seat of the car?

And: how many pictures of yourself did you share with the minor, and how many and what kind of other visual images did you share during your BDSM online relationship with the minor?

Or enough people adding reminders to their custom user titles.

Not that I'd ever suggest that.

Mine's not...

Re this, I find her behaviour disgusting, but I don't have vendetta interest in Recidiva and don't see the benefit of chaining myself to her problems. I'd like to say I don't care, but every time I think about this stuff I get pissed off.

I know, the newbie, get over it :)
I just love the feeling of being in the midst of all this comraderie, thanks for a fine initiation to Lit.

Well, it is the only crime where we hold the victim culpable.

Look at what she was wearing.

She's asking for it.

She hangs out with the guys.

She's in chat rooms.

You get the point Sonny. :)
What about the actual perpetrators in this case--that lying, manipulative boy and the gang-mentality trolls here in Lit? You want to make it about something Recidiva has done, as if she's somehow responsible for her own behavior? Sick, pal. Real sick.

Welcome to Lit. You've picked a fine thread to make your first ever appearance.

Do you have any crimes of passion you'd like to confess to the group?

Confession is good for the soul.

Not so good for your board reputation, however.

I am accustomed to being reviled. I was surprised to find I had a reputation to sully.

Thanks for the greeting Rob!
Any passionate crimes I've committed are well tucked away under whatever bed they were at the time :) no thanks, just the first few pages of this sort of made me think of what "be afraid, be very afraid" really means.
Don't mind me, I'm with the cleaning crew.

Glad to have delivered a vaccine by proxy.

You should see the conversation where I admitted to having been a Scientologist and having lived with the Church for a few years.

I was told that I was actively recruiting for them and I believed all sorts of stuff I found frankly silly.

I find it hard to believe that I have the energy for all this crime and conspiracy and I still have the bank account I have. I have not been making the most of my opportunities, clearly.

I have been meaning to ask, were you ever able to afford OT VII?

A little prick never hurts, can't have too much of a good one :)
Your rep is none of my biz really.

Never got further than clear, and that was in theory a past life event. I got a neato bracelet though in silver and amethyst, my favorite colors.

Never had to pay for anything, I enjoyed the administrative and educational side. Learned how to run a business and teach and I was really surprised to find out that I believed in some dude named Xenu, who I had never heard of unless he was signing some sort of routing paperwork and I missed it.

But believe me, did I learn a lot about theoretical "freedom of religion" and the press.

Very educational. Joining a cult was a very positive experience overall.
