Work Nightmare

I'm still lost...the photograph helps with what? HELPS WITH WHAT! Don't fade! Don't go into the light tactful!

Please stop being difficult, women are supposed to be easy, I'm giving up, while I'm ahead, at least I think I'm ahead, no thanks to you, this isn't supposed to be, they told me it's easy, it's not.

I am easy, I'm just not cheap. Ulaven says so. He's cheap.

James Franco = Older Brother

Dave Franco = Younger Brother - He played Cole on Scrubs, and was in "Warm Bodies" (alas, only for a short time)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iK3HuC6uN0 - some Scrubs moments

I will never forgive James Franco for some of his movies. Although "This Is The End" was AWESOME.

Ohhhh! Remember him now. I adored Scrubs, but lost interest in that last season, so it's no wonder my memory needed some jogging.

Speaking of former Scrubs characters, The Janitor made a nice transition when he joined The Middle. Love that show.

I saw him in that, yeah!

It was too soon for me after Malcolm though. I still mourn that show.

Malcolm was near and dear to my heart, as well.

That 70's Show ended too soon in my opinion, even though all the actors were nearing their late 20's, and Donna went blonde for no good reason.

*moment of silence for comedy favorites*

Need. More.

Oh, and I miss 30 Rock. Amen.

30 Rock was a good one, although I did not follow it faithfully.

The Office. Love every character, even Dwight had his moments.

I tried 30 Rock and it must have been a very bad day because I decided it wasn't funny. When I got Tina Fey's book I tried again and I must have been in a better mood.

Saw Bossypants on the shelf, but did not buy it. I was probably low on cash that week. I did, however, waste my money on books by Chelsea Handler and Kathy Griffin, both decent in their own right, but have become tiresome.

Oh, grab it if you get a chance. I have the audio version and she reads it herself. there's a whole section on how she answers internet hate mail.

“In my opinion Tina Fey completely ruined SNL. The only reason she’s celebrated is because she’s a woman and an outspoken liberal. She has not a single funny bone in her body.”

Dear jerkstore,

Huzzah for the Truth Teller! Women in this country have been over-celebrated for too long. Just last night there was a story on my local news about a “missing girl,” and they must have dedicated seven or eight minutes to “where she was last seen” and “how she might have been abducted by a close family friend,” and I thought, “What is this, the News for Chicks?” Then there was some story about Hillary Clinton flying to some country because she’s secretary of state. Why do we keep talking about these dumdums? We are a society that constantly celebrates no one but women and it must stop! I want to hear what the men of the world have been up to. What fun new guns have they invented? What are they raping these days? What’s Michael Bay’s next film going to be?

When I first set out to ruin SNL, I didn’t think anyone would notice, but I persevered because—like you trying to do a nine-piece jigsaw puzzle—it was a labor of love.

I’m not one to toot my own horn, but I feel safe with you, jerkstore, so I’ll say it. Everything you ever hated on SNL was by me, and anything you ever liked was by someone else who did it against my will.

Sincerely,

Tina Fey

P.S. You know who does have a funny bone in her body? Your mom every night for a dollar.

These are rare, but they evoke a "What The Fuck Is My Brain Up To?" When I get them.

Now, normally...I have hard core nightmares. Sharks, death, dismemberment, full color and my brain has told me in detail what it would be like to be eaten by bugs.

Okay. So last night I'm taking a walk and it seems really nice. It's a lovely walk. I'm happy. I get home and...oh no. My computer is on. I apparently walked out of my work shift. I left the instant messengers up! I can see them! They're tiling! What's the workload? Was it light? Heavy? My boss is on the phone, I say hello and then panic and hang up.

Nerd anxiety. I would like to believe I'm cooler than that, but once again my brain says. No. Sorry. You are exactly that easily freakable outable.

My brain is no longer trying to freak me out just by making me experience pain, it's gone all sideways and just wants to make me terrified of the petty and banal.

Not cool, brain.

I've done that too. I work at home so I actually manage a quick nap as long as I set an alarm.

Though my brain has gotten me for that too. Time to wake up. *snooze* Start to dream about waking up and getting ready for work.

Heeeey.

Your brain seems like an asshole.

So it's not an actual box at the side of your bed or something?

I remember I handled it well when Ulaven introduced me to his mistress in a dream. I checked out, walked to another room, started to meditate and then I woke up.

So I just wish I'd do that more often.

My monitor is untrustworthy.

My monitor reminds me of my old man. Yuh know how they are, youre watching Miley Cyrus squirm and bounce, and just about the time you start thinking you might get a glimpse of Heaven, he changes the channel to Yee Haw.

I tried Lucid dreaming a few times and I've probably managed lucid dreaming a few times. But I can't control dreams for long. Once I'm aware that I'm in a dream or that my logic is severely off "Hm. That's not like them, I'm usually sharper than this, etc." I wake up.

You sound normal.

You sound normal.

I'm also grateful I don't apply supernatural powers or symbols to my dreams.

Although my daughter will wake up and say things like "We'll never see the cat again" and "I'm going to get that part in that play" and she has certain dreams that are different and prophetic.

She's always been right, so thank her very much for screwing up that theory. I don't have that.

To some of us dreams are like examining garbage. That is, you can look thru a bag of trash and learn a lot about people, and make assumptions based on what you find. But dreams remain trash. Dreams are the brains way of defragging itself. Do without sleep and you get psychotic and dysfunctional.

I've solved problems in my sleep, but that's working backward.

Yes, I spent many years being insomniac. I do not miss it. Though I miss being able to watch movies all night. But not the part where I want to die at work.
