Im new here and I'm trying to surf around. The problem is have 37 new pms and I can't make a move without clearing 3 popups at a time.

That's what a name like "little Sarah" will get you around these parts. The pervy sharks see new meat.
Anyway, simply go to User CP. Then Edit Options. Under that you can enable or disable PMs. If you like the creepy PMs about guys and their dongs, but just don't like the pop-ups, you can disable that too.

It's incredible, isn't it? I've been back here for about a week and I've had to empty my PM box multiple times already. 150 seems like a lot but it fills up in no time. There are some interesting messages amongst the 'wanna cam' types, so apologies to anyone who has PM'd me with a polite, literate message to which I haven't yet responded - I just can't keep up!

Mine is at 500.

Little_Sara, instead of turning all your PMs off you can put the goofs on ignore. Click on the users name and it will tale you to their profile page. Toward the upper right part of the page there is Put (owners name) on ignore. When you click on it you should get no more PMs from him nor will you be able to see any of his posts on the boards.
That way you can PM with those you want to and still shut down the jerks, then delete the PMs from the clowns.

Not funny to Little_Sara and others like her with stressed pm boxes, but I'm laughing too. They really should change the name; Dickerotica's much more apt.
I only get one, maybe two every few days, sometimes per week, sometimes more. I guess that's the result of my handle... Couldn't think of anything. Looked around the room, saw the name of a butterfly in my Sims game (nerdy, I know), the same color as my hair at the time. Sold! Apparently butterflies are pm proof.

Thank you for the advice sir, lol. Although that may be a tad more excessive than I'd like. And I doubt saying "I rarely get pms, hey I'm not a dude," is exactly the phrase every Daddy on Lit was waiting to read before sending out a surge of pms.
I'm good. I'm just too new to really have any Lit-friends, so without an influx of messages, Lit gets boring. It's very clique-y. It's tougher than I thought to get any good banter around here. Why do females never pm?? C'mon! Let's be friends! Girl power or some shit!

Hahaha. I was kidding about your name, mostly. I was just implying that you had a girl's name and that was enough to get a million PMs.
What kind of messages do I get? None really. Well, this last week I have, but that was based on a specific thread. Other than that, I do not get many messages at all. But I'm a guy, so it's different.
@Mission- The HT Cafe is a decent place for some banter. Or the Playground, if you really want a lot of flirty type messages. The HT cafe is slow paced. But fun.
