Would anyone be super annoyed if I participated in the discussion of baskets and items even though I didn't finish my story? I really enjoyed that part of the challenge, and it had interesting ramifications on the creative process, even now, as I decide whether or not to expand my story into a novel for NaNo.

Sure, you can participate in the discussion! In the last FAWC I did the same without having a story in the challenge.

We've even let JBJ join in the discussion without a hint of objection that I've seen.

It would be a flaw in the fawc if the discussion was limited to the list of 15.

I saw Yellowtail and my brain went immediately to sushi. Oh, how I love sushi. Now I want some. Yum. Sushi. I'm so hungry. But I wouldn't want to bait my breath with it.

I'm baiting my breath with water laced with b-vitamins and a diet cherry coke. I think they cancel each other out? But don't tell Naoko. She'll reprimand me for drinking soda when I'm ill.
