It doesn't really help when you identify the misses. It helps narrow down the possible hits. (But I guess this is part of the fun?)

Yes, it did. Hopefully, it will get even more interesting after the reveal as then we can get around to hearing from the authors about their thought processes about the stories and the guessers about their thought processes about the guesses.

Some interesting discussion during the last several hours . . . .

It's probably going to be a couple of months before the next FAWC. By then, I hope, I will have cemented a new voting program for the challenge or decided to simply stick with it as is.

Regarding the list of guesses, like Dampy, I am biting my tongue on mentioning anything directly, but one of the lists given has an almost alarming number of correct guesses.

I'm not saying which one, though.

Well, you are, arguably, the most openly bisexual man in the AH. Many know that I am, but the majority of my stories posted on Lit don't reflect that, while the majority of yours are in the GM category. So, it would be a natural assumption for many that any story with a gay or bisexual male character would be yours.

This is just how it was the first time! When someone makes a wildly inaccurate guess as to who wrote your story, you start rolling on the floor laughing and you really have to bite your tongue not to post and say: OMG, that is hilarious because .... I can't wait for the reveal; to find out how completely wrong I was in my guesses.

I just want to add that there were some absolute gems in amongst the stories. I so much enjoyed reading them. I love this competition because it makes me stay up all night reading smut instead of cleaning my bathtub

I also can't wait to start talking about how we all felt when we saw our basket ingredients and what we would have felt like if we'd had some of the baskets others had.

Well, I think I'm safe to say, cuz I did say it at the time, that I was FAWCking furious when I saw my basket ingredients, cuz they were yummy. I had no intention of writing anything, I just can't resist a basket of freebies. But some of the ones I saw, I was like and deeply admired the way they were interwoven in the story. Some were a bit , OK, I suppose it was mentioned. One was so brilliantly interwoven that a commentator accused the writer of not including it! LOL.

Oh my God, I can't wait, I can't wait! I LOVE this competition.
