A little theater south of here, we're often the only ones there and we can talk and laugh.
Big MST3K fan here.
I have almost all the seasons on DVD.Did you know they're riffing 'Starship Troopers' live via satellite at certain theaters August 15th? Our closest is Kalamazoo 10. We've been to about 4 of the 'Live' events and it's pretty fun with a whole theater full of fans!

I've gone to movies alone when it was something no one wanted to see with me. But most often I enjoy being able to watch them in the comfort of my living room on the big screen in my undies!
Plus you can talk and joke as well as pause to get snacks and not miss anything!
I love going to the movies alone. A movie is about sitting in the dark and being quietly immersed in a story. No need to bring someone to talk to or share the armrest with.
p.s. Sorry about my disappearance. I was on the phone with my mom.

Still hung over. And Fagin knows damn well how I managed to get drunk. Next time, I am sticking to my hard cider. I am not sure how many times the bottle of rum chata passed my side of the fire circle... but I had to start waving it away!
Everyone is doing pretty well around here. The littlest little will be 2 this month. I am van shopping as the Taurus is imploding, piece by piece. We are also about to start the process of house hunting! Can't wait!
I am off to an early bedtime... dream well, everyone!

Glad to hear all is well. We just replaced the teenager's Yukon with a Sonata. So I'm not envious of the car shopping. She's happy to be getting better gas mileage, especially since her new boyfriend lives in Plainwell!

Looks like we ALL missed last week!
Then again, we have just a few short months to cram in all our summer fun activities.
Glad you've been able to get out there even busy with work and stuff.
Had beautiful weather this weekend and had a good time at a birthday party and then a local town's 'Summer Block Party' where they shut down the main street and had bands and a beer tent. It was really fun!
Hope everyone had a good weekend too!

Niles is about 15 minutes from South Bend. It's been at least a few years since I've had to go apartment hunting, and my credit's not that great...lol.
Has anyone had luck using Craigslist for housing?

I think the way things typically work is weather patterns come from central Canada, down through Minnesota and then over Michigan. I usually check the weather back home, and you guys always get what we get a few days later.
