The Republicans were all but salivating at the prospect of Hillary as the Democrat nominee because they figured they'd have a better chance against her than Obama. It was an assessment that many Democrats shared. In 2008 there were just too many people who didn't like Hillary.

Have her numbers changed so much that she'll be more competitive in 2016?
