It wasn't bad once I got power back. It went out Friday about 10 and got it back about 24 hours later. It did give me a good reason to go to the movies and see the new Star Trek movie though. :)

We had a little storm roll through tonight, and about a 5 minute shower on Friday, but we're just not getting any rain.
 
I guess I'm going to have call the repairman for the air conditioning. The power outage did something to it. It gives me a great reason to be naked at home though. (like I need a reason) LOL
 
It's storming now and we have one chicken missing! We had one not come home last night and we feared the worst out here in coyote and fox country, but after I let the others out this morning, there she was with the others. Was glad she was safe, but now she's missing again! :(

I didn't know "letting the chickens out" was something that had to be done. Aren't they able to go from inside to outside on their own?

We let them out to 'free range' and eat bugs and grass during the day, but herd them back into their 'predator proof' coop at night. This weekend was the first time we couldn't find one. They tend to stick together.
