Justice for Trayvon??

CNN Lib Candy Crowley After Zimmerman Verdict: “Is The American Justice System Innately Racist?”…

You think she’d be saying the same thing if Zimmerman was convicted?

Via Newsbusters:

CROWLEY: And a lot has been said, though, about the justice system and that it seems to many people sort of innately racially divided from whether someone is charged all the way through the verdict. Do you think that the American justice system is innately racist?

Liberal Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz: Zimmerman Prosecutor Conduct Borderline Criminal, Should Be Disbarred…

In a sane world she would be, but we don’t live in a sane world.

Via GretaWire:

MIKE HUCKABEE: You have said that you thought the prosecutor ought to be disbarred, that’s a pretty serious type of violation to get a person disbarred. It is that serious to you?

ALAN DERSHOWITZ: Right, it is. She submitted an affidavit that was, if not perjurious, completely misleading. She violated all kinds of rules of the profession, and her conduct bordered on criminal conduct. She, by the way, has a horrible reputation in Florida. She’s known for overcharging, she’s known for being highly political. And in this case, of course she overcharged. Halfway through the trial she realized she wasn’t going to get a second degree murder verdict, so she asked for a compromised verdict, for manslaughter. And then, she went even further and said that she was going to charge him with child abuse and felony murder. That was such a stretch that it goes beyond anything professionally responsible. She was among the most irresponsible prosecutors I’ve seen in 50 years of litigating cases, and believe me, I’ve seen good prosecutors, bad prosecutors, but rarely have I seen one as bad as this prosecutor, [Angela] Cory. (Huckabee, July 14, 2013)

The media tried and failed to claim Zimmerman was white in order to sensationalize the event.

Forty years ago I learned how MSM likes to sensationalize things, and how you gotta keep your wits about you when you talk to reporters. When I worked for the state I occasionally got volunteered to interview with tv people, cuz I was good at blowing them off nicely.

If I got a question like, DONT YOU THINK SENATOR FOGHORN IS A STINGY ASSHOLE WHO HATES THE CHILDREN? I said, ACTUALLY HE'S A DECENT GUY WITH A PLATE FULLA TOUGH CHOICES TO MAKE AND ANKLES LOADED WITH DOG BITES FROM THE FOLKS WHO DIDNT GET ALL THEY WANTED. MSM wont air anything that's fair and calm.

I wonder if a Bevins suit could be brought against the President and the Attorney General at some point if they continue to threaten the civil rights of Zimmerman. Federal officers are not protected by sovereign immunity in a Bivins action.

RINO Rich Scott picked Angela to kick Zimmerman's nutz. That's the GOP today.

I see very little prospect for the Feds bringing legitimate civil right violation charges against Zimmerman. Legitimate being the operative word. There is a significant difference between the Martin case and the King case, Zimmerman, unlike the LA cops, was in no position of authority to systematically violate anyone's civil rights.

Civil liability is a different story although that would have to proceed in a Federal court because FL law provides for immunity from civil penalties in self defense cases. And I think it will be a very long stretch to even make the case that this case falls under the umbrella of federal jurisdiction.

The old Rockefeller wing of the party still thrives.

Paul Fussell's old book CLASS IN AMERICA explains it. Men like John D. Rockefeller were real conservatives, he went to church every Sunday, died married to his first wife, and spent 500 million dollars eradicating hookworm disease in the South, and building colleges for blacks and others. The folks who bought Standard Oil stock made fortunes. But his kids wanted to, you know, fit in with the beautiful people, impress the perfessers, and get into politics. So they became social liberals, to have social lives their wives enjoyed.

There can be a wrongful death action but under which federal statute would it proceed?

Obama wont go after Zimmerman until he's certain George has a book deal worth stealing. John Morgan (Charlie Crist's boss) got off Casey Anthonys ass once he knew she wasn't gonna make any money from a book deal. Morgan's the kind of Democrat who digs up corpses to search their pockets and bras one last time.

If I were Georgie-Boy, I'd knock the dust off my passport and look to emigrate to Ukraine or some place without any kind of extradition treaty with the USofA.
