Also, as I've said before, I wasn't there and neither were you. All any of us can do is to examine the evidence and and render a determination based on fact.

The first 2 questions I don't believe are deserving of a response. What I think Zimmerman did to deserve a broken nose was to treat a fellow citizen as a criminal without any evidence to support that conclusion.

The fact is when Trayvon committed a felony on Zimmerman's nose, under Florida law when that happened he became a legal candidate for deadly force. You can't point to a single piece of evidence that Zimmerman assaulted Trayvon in any way that would justify his response.

It's not a fact, it's something you made up. Martin was never convicted of any felony.

I doubt there would be any testimony in the case, but there was certainly pressure from the POTUS and from some members of Congress and from other prominent black people. The pressure is described repeatedly on this thread, with Obama insisting on a full investigation, even after he should have known the local DA had conducted such an investigation and was hesitant about taking the case to court.

Just because something is described here doesn't mean it happened in reality.

We're talking about Seminole County. It's about as right wing as you can get. Who would they pressure?

I'm up for discussing it. What actual proof do you have that specific politicians or elected officials were pressured?
