What little I tasted was good
LOL I can imagine.
Yeah, I can hear neighbors fighting. Good thing my door is dead-bolted.
Fighting sucks. I don't care who is doing it...![]()
I totally agree

yeah I dislike that and am glad you have one as well

It wasn't fighting. Someone broke into my neighbor's apartment. They are the 7th apartment in this building to be hit in the last month.

1 is a random occurrence
2 is a coincidence
3 or more, where are the police?
That's pretty scary. I know you can call the police out to look over your place and give you an assessment on how safe and secure your place is. And give you some ideas on how to protect yourself while you are in your car, walking to your place and once you are home.
I hope you have some way to protect yourself.
Be safe girl...
I read on facebook just the other day to have several locks and always leave half unlocked so no matter what they do some will always be locked lol.
They are here now, finally.
They broke into ours about a month ago, while I was home sleeping. Nothing was taken from ours though. Two other tenants have since moved out. The 6th reported theirs, but only money was taken so nothing the cops could really do. There are only 8 apartments in my building, and guess what happened to the 8th tenants? They were evicted, and the ones doing the stealing. Now, we just have to prove it.
WTF?!
The broke into your place?! While you were there?!
Did you wake up and chase them off? Or were they gone when you woke up?
There are some very simple, inexpensive and effective door alarms you can buy. You really need to find a way to better secure your own safety. Even if it means looking for a new place to live.
I am moving, most likely this weekend. Back in with my mom until I can find something more secure. Although, this was supposed to be a secure building.
I was sleeping, as I had been working nights. What chased them off was my phone ringing. One roommate was out of town and the other had just left for work, so they were watching our apartment, waiting for the all clear. My car wasn't here that day. My phone rang, and shortly after that, the doorbell to my apartment continued to ring until I finally answered it. That was when they left, as I saw their shadows under my roommate's bedroom door.
This smells of an inside job. Either someone that works "security" is doing the robbing or someone is being tipped off.
So....who wants to come spend the night with me??
I will, we can have a sleep over and i'm 6" so I tend to scare bad guys away lol
Awesome!! These two are just punks, a tad taller than me. I'm only 5'4" so they aren't all that tall.
Times like this make me miss my dog.![]()

I'll be happy to come over. I can put up with a lot of shit. But I cannot and will never put up with anyone messing with women. And trust me when I say... I can protect you.

Mmmm nice. Like a man like that
Don't know if it's a Texas thing or just how I was raised...
But I grew up respecting and protecting women. That's what I was taught and believe.
I still open doors for women, say yes ma'am and thank you, help them carry anything heavy and make sure they are comfortable and feel safe and secure. Seems to be the least we can do the lovely women that give us children and make us feel loved at home...

It's not a Texas thing. My experience from my trips to Texas is that you're the exception, not the rule.
I grew up in NY state. I was taught manners.
