I wore some brand new shoes out today, and got 3 EPIC blisters and three just so so blisters.
I hate shoes.

I found a totally stunning dress today, however it was $180:eek:

Happy 4th everyone! No plans for me today. I think I may dye my hair again. Such an exciting life I lead.
 
Happy 4th of July to everyone in the States! I'm getting ready to watch some fireworks from the balcony of my apartment. It's great that I won't have to fight the crowds or pay for parking somewhere. :)

You'd love living in Queensland then (where I do) it's horribly humid 90% of them time here in summer

You're very welcome! From my balcony/deck on the 3rd floor we were able to see the firework shows for 3 towns! Just got my little one to sleep because some idiots in the neighborhood were setting off more fireworks. :mad:

Oh wow that's awesome. I LOVE fireworks. Got some pictures of some that I was happy with last year.

The hotel my best friend and I are planning to stay at in new Orleans is close to the river so i'm curious if we could see the fireworks they have by the river from our room or not.
I'm glad you finally got her to sleep.
I always wanted to buy some fireworks when I was in America as it's illegal to buy here. Never did though

We went to a restaurant a mile from and 600 ft above the river where the fireworks were being set off. 14 of us total. The display lasted 36 minutes. At the end, we had the entire restaurant either near us are outside watching.

Oh, and our bill was just over $200, we received discounts on almost everything!
