Goodnight Fagin. :rose:

I think I'm gonna call it too. Goodnight everyone. Thanks for the fun chat tonight. Have a great week and a wonderful 4th of July!

Night Nauti enjoy the 4th, and have a great week

Yeah even that Zach Zoomer was a little intense at Michigan Adventure
:D Then nope, not a 'coaster man' ;)
I like all the other rides too! We'd still have lots of fun!

Good night ladies and gents, I'm being paged from the bedroom.

Good night to you as well. :rose:
As you can tell my connection is not so great, so going to crawl off to bed too. *yawn*

Hope you all have a great holiday this week!

Happy 4th of July Michigan!
Happy happy fourth all you horn dogs and kittens!
You guys took the words out of my mouth :D... have fun everyone
Happy 5th of July!
Can we keep this party going?
Happy 7th of July!!
Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. The weather was great!

We went to a parade and then back out that night for fireworks, as well as good ones in our yard in between! :D

And it is all of 5 from me:eek:
That place is 4 miles from me. :cattail:
ROZEZ! Always nice to see you pop on! Hope you and the family are all well. :rose:

So You and CM have inside info about Michigan's Adventure as a Lit-together place? :D
It would be lots of fun. We'll be going as a family later this month, as is the annual tradition for my daughter's birthday. :)

Waving early tonight as I'm covering for my co-worker's vacation this week and have to be up extra early.
Sending hugs to all my HI MI friends.

Wonderful weekend here too. Funny how having two extra days makes it feel even shorter. I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow.

Bob and I pretty much stuck around the house over the weekend. Picked up some fireworks for the neighborhood show (Not official or anything, but it seemed we were all home doing our own so got to enjoy everybody else's, too) The fireworks store we went to was near the "toy" store, so we stopped in and did some shopping for after the fireworks too.

I enjoyed the pool. Bob enjoyed working on our camper remodel. I think I'm going to need to take a long weekend more often. :)

Good morning all. Checking in and updating.

The holiday weekend was good: fireworks, cookout, and the pool. The girls came over and brought the grandkids; they've been antsy about getting in our pool since summer started.

Jazz is still doing okay, but she may have to keep going in for chemotherapy. How long and how often is unknown until her CATscan is performed, which is tomorrow morning, and then analyzed by her doctor, her appointment with her is Thursday.

We're being optimistic, since none of the really bad things associated with chemo have drastically happened, i.e. losing all of her hair (she still has some; it's thin, but still there), awful nausea (is there a 'good' kind? :D ...anyway, no; no vomiting), and the like. Her doctor's 'gloom 'n doom' routine is bullshit, in my opinion. Jazz is doing much better and is handling it better than we anticipated. We'll know what the next move is on Thursday and take from there.

Other than that, everything's still status quo here. I'll update again as soon as we have news. Keep enjoying that summer weather, and I'll keep the pool clean.

Hello!

Hi everyone, first post here as I just discovered this thread.

30 unsatisfied MWM. I live in Ann Arbor, and work in Detroit. Just got back last night from 5 days in Traverse City. Back to the work grind. :(

Looks like I've missed 4000+ pages, where to start. :p

Staycation

Good Morning Everyone :)

I just thought I'd say hello to all you nice Michigan people - it's been a while since I posted here. I figure I'll be checking in this week since I'm not going anyplace.

Captain!

So glad to hear that Jazz is hanging in there and her treatments aren't unbearable. Hoping you hear really good news on Thursday. I'm keeping you both in my prayers. :rose:

I'm sure it was nice to have the whole family gathered for the 4th. We had such wonderful weather and family fun time is always good for you.

Hello Tom! It has been a long time. On vacation this week? How are things on your side of the state? Good naked weather we've been having. :)

Hello and welcome! I'm nauti in Grand Rapids.

This thread is many years old so trying to catch up on all of it probably wouldn't be worth your time. I just checked and the last 50 pages will take you back almost a year and introduce you to our regular posters. No need to read everything, but if you've got some time to skim, you could probably get to know us a bit. We're a friendly bunch who tries, when possible, to meet here on Sunday nights around 9 for flirty and friendly conversation. We'd love to have you join us sometime. :)

Good morning all. Checking in and updating
Glad you had a great 4th with grandkids and pool fun!
Positive vibes for the results on Thursday, let her know she's been in all our thoughts. Thanks for letting us know what's going on. :rose:

A 'neighborhood show'? That's awesome! We tend to put on a good display ourselves. ;)
What did you get at the 'toy' store?

Tom! Wonderful to 'see' you! A naked vacation sounds wonderful! :D

Hi everyone, first post here as I just discovered this thread.
Welcome MCnY, glad to have you. Wonderful people here on this thread. Let us know when you've caught up on the past 4000+ pages! ;)

Tired gal from working extra, but will like the check in a couple weeks!
Staying in the air conditioning as much as possible with this humidity. I don't have a pool like the Captain!

Lit-together at Captain's!!! :catroar:

Hugs all around to all my HI MI friends.

Hi!

Hi folks! I grew up in Rochester, went to college in Kzoo and East Lansing, and now call Colorado home but I make it back to the mitten a few times a year...enjoying the humidity this week! ;)

Love the nice long thread!

Good morning everyone.

Isn't it a beautiful morning? Every morning is going to be beautiful! :D ...yes, we received good news; great news!

The chemotherapy treatments are working. Half of Jazz's cancer is gone! The remaining tumors are now half the size they were when she started treatment. She's winning the fight; the cancer is losing! :D

The not-so-good part of it is that she still has to continue her treatments for another month. But it's okay, because we know the chemo is working and she's getting better. She couldn't stop crying when the doctor told her the good news, neither could I or our daughters.

We're going out to the casino this weekend, her favorite activity, to celebrate and we're going to win big! Hey, we're on a roll; I'm not stopping now!

Thank you all for your support throughout all of this. Jazz was terrified that she was going to get bad news, and I told her that everyone (in here and throughout the family) was thinking of her. I love you guys.

Wish us luck... I'm going to need it; I still have a kitchen to finish. ;) :D

Hey All! Just checking in. 33/Male/Grand Rapids. Awesome weather today. Had a blast hitting the beach today, but because a simple day spent at the beach somehow "exhuasted" my wife, I'm here at not even 10:00 on a Saturday night while she went to bed 40 minutes ago. Man, I really need a woman with more energy and stamina, because nights like this suck. lol
