In my experience, when done properly can be quite pleasurable. Done wrong it's just a pain in the ass...:D. What do you think ladies? Guys, we all know you (many of you) "love to pound that ass". This question is for the girls.

Like you said, done properly it's very pleasurable. Very relaxed, very aroused, and very, very, very well lubed. mmmhhhh

At the right time, in the right way it is very pleasurable. I like a finger in there while he is licking me. Then sometimes I ask for his cock. He needs to put baby oil there and go in very slowly, stopping every half inch for the first two or three inches. Then it is wonderful playing a vibrator on myself as he slowly goes in and out. I like the very full feeling and have a very intense orgasm with the combination of clitoral and anal stimulation.

That's exactly

how my wife likes it. And any man who doesn't go very slowly and use lots of lube is an idiot who probably won't get to do it twice (with that woman). But done properly, it's unutterably wonderful, in our opinion.

That's

a rather rigid viewpoint. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

I've tried it many times. If she wants it, I do it. I even enjoy it, but the feeling of a vagina is where it's at for me.

I can understand how it might be physically pleasurable, but I just can't get past the fact that that is where poo comes from. Just creeps me out.

A definite YAY when done right. This is a case of slow and steady (and plenty of lube ;)) wins the race.

Nay.
I earned an A Grade in Human Anatomy.
Therefore knowing the anatomy and function of the anus, it is definitely not an orifice for sexual activity.
Rectal cancer is increasing amongst the populace.
Now take a moment and ponder why this is the case.
Farrah Fawcett died of rectal cancer.
Do you think she was taking it in the ass?

Yay, but I don't push my view point on someone who isn't of like mind (I don't force anal sex on someone who doesn't want the idea themself).

Saying rectal cancer is caused by things going in, ignores the idea that things come out as well. That viewpoint is spurious, and does not bode well for those opposed to such an action.

In point of fact, some rectal cancers have been attributed to things like swallowing mouthwash opposed to spitting it out. So some rectal cancers have a verified direct cause by what comes out. Does this mean we should stop eating all together??
Unless you are saying that; by muscles stretching causes cancer? If that's the case, then I guess all forms of natural childbirth should be stricken from practice too?

Please, stop the silliness. You do best to say Nay and then try to use an argument with pathos over offering questionable and doubtful testimony.

Wow! Really?

So since rectal cancer is increasing amongst the populace, your first thought is that this is because of people taking it in the ass? So it has nothing to do with genetics, lack of exercise or diet including all the processed and/or hormone and chemical infused foods that most people eat!

Farrah Fawcett died of rectal cancer, so immediately your mind goes to: "she was taking it in the ass?"

Again: Wow!

A quick google search can find a plethora of other famous folks who, by your reasoning, apparently also were taking it in the ass, here's a small sampling:

Charles M. Schulz, the creator of the Peanuts. Lucky guy!
Jack Lemmon
Jackie Gleason
Jerry Goldsmith, Composer of many TV and Film scores.

There's tons more of lucky folks out there who were apparently enjoying being "violated" on a regular basis or is it your theory that it only takes once?

Back to the original question...

It's definitely a "Yea" from me, both on the giving and the receiving end. While I still prefer vaginal intercourse with my wife; I and more importantly, she enjoys anal on occasion and she typically has really strong orgasms when we do it.

For me I can say that the strongest orgasms I've ever had have been when I've had a butt plug, dildo or strap-on inserted in my ass and to say that they are incredible would be an understatement.

Yay:)

When done with proper care and preparation, very pleasurable. Not something done frequently, but once in a while it's a nice way to spice things up...

Sexy, sensual, exciting, when done by a confident man who knows what he is doing. And I love the taboo of it too.
