Well technically you can go to Vegas and visit the Paris hotel. I went to Paris and its so damn expensive. Vegas if you find the right deals can be worth the trip. And the art in Vegas is world class too. I'm planning a girls trip to Vegas in October when it's shoulder season.

I guess so. I had never heard of Mountain Dew, and still never tried any, but I know Red used to love it! Maybe she still does??
In Canada, Mountain Dew is not a big seller. They also make a "red" version.
The reason it sells better in the US - caffeine. Until very recently, any"clear" (not cola) drink in Canada could not contain caffeine. That has since changed, although most of those type of drinks still don't. Mountain Dew here added it and sales went up.
Evening to RED.

They have several versions of Mt. Dew now. Besides the yellow, there is the red, orange, black, blue, and white. I think that's all the colors at this time. They also reintroduced the very first original recipe "Mt. Dew Throwback" which is made with cane sugar instead of corn syrup.RED we don't have any of those. Even the red version is hard to find. Most stores don't even sell Mountain Dew, maybe in the grocery stores, but nowhere else.

I haven't popped in here in a while, but I thought I'd say hi.
So-so RED, how's yourself?
I'd like to get some writing done, but the sun is right in my eyes and seems to be following me wherever I move. In 15 minutes it might be set enough, we will see. I could go home but with the weather improving, the drunks have started up again.

Can you imagine if our president dictated the dollar amount of food we need to survive? There would be anarchy in the streets.
Live in Canada for a while. In the 1990's, I was on Social Assistance - supposedly the bare minimum you needed to live on.
Our then-premier, the much-detested Mike Harris, reduced that by 25%. After paying my rent, I had less than $25 left - for everything.
I know we're better off than some US states and a lot of the Third World, but still ...

PS - I have never voted for that party again.
A huge difference in a country that is Free and a country that really isn't.
Very true. We Americans take for granted so much it's crazy.
My oldest niece did a summer in a Third World country, working with Habitat for Humanity and her grandparents. It changed her a fair bit. I was stunned that she made it through the entire program.
Our government has been a mess for a while. The Conservative and Liberal parties are virtually interchangeable. The current Liberal leader is Justin Trudeau, a "legacy" leader (his father was one of our longest-serving PMs) We almost need anarchy to shake things up.
