I confess that I hate the Am Pic Feedback thread. I browse it occasionally, but I really just hate it. I think it's the feedback part that I hate. Nobody is ever honest and everyone just gushes all over everyone. It's one big slobbery ass kiss.

I was going to run with this one ,seeing how we're talking about the Am Pic thread (aka..naked pictures of real people) and honesty ( again regarding naked pictures and real people), but since I'm in a weird mood, I'm not going to say anything snarky, sarcastic, or the like.

I will however, say, that there is a difference in being honest and being mean. If your "honest" opinion is that someone looks unattractive, it's best to keep that opinion to oneself. (Golden Rule, People, Golden Rule.. ) But, blowing smoke up the proverbial arse isn't really helpful either. Don't lie, just don't say anything. So, I agree with you on the mushy, gushy crap..

Now, a lot of what is posted is just the unfiltered musings of horndogs trying to get laid, so therein may lie the problem. I only follow two threads over there, anyway. And most of what I post is either intended to encourage or joke with them.

I'm going to disagree with you about people being honest. I believe that the people who fawn all over the people on AmPics are attracted to that particular body type and subscribe and comment. And the people who comment on the thread are usually complimentary because of their attraction and it encourages the posters to post more.

It's kind of an unspoken rule on AmPics to not berate anyone.

It's actually a terrifying process to post your first pic, so the more positive comments you get the more empowered it makes you feel.
I think the people who did comment, as BBB said, were being honest....the people who didn't like my pics just didn't say anything.

Kudram ~ If you posted that drawing, it's perfect! I so don't get why people feel the need to come onto Lit and create drama. I was under the impression it's supposed to be for pleasure. There are so many good people on lit. I wish there was just a little tighter rules in terms of kicking out haters. Ho hum.

I have to wonder what kind of horrible, unhappy lives these people lead that makes it necessary to potentially disrupt someone else's life in such a way.

I'm disappointed with Lit lately. This place is like high school. Everybody talks about everybody, and there are bullies here who will make you feel bad about anything you do or say here. They are on every thread including this one. Just look at the ones who cant even be nice about cake, and I've never seen the cake person be mean or rude to anyone ever, she is always nice to everybody so why does someone think they just have to say mean things about her? It makes me feel bad to see someone else be mean for no reason and maybe hurt someone else's feelings. If this is supposed to be someplace to go and have fun, its not fun to read mean or nasty things that other people cant keep to themselves. I've been here for three years and its getting worse all the time. It makes me feel bad to see stuff like that here, one of the only places people should be able to go and be themselves without having someone else judge them. There is no rule here that says that everything you post has to be about sex. Reading a post that someone makes that's mean, even if it is as a secret, some people might think that's fun, but I don't, and I don't feel like there is anybody here that I can trust, because I have had too many other people tell me other peoples stuff that was told to them in confidence.

That is not really a secret so here is one, mine. I have met and fucked two Lit members in the last two years. The first one was terrible. He posts all over the place, too, and everybody thinks he is very dirty and raunchy, but he had a tiny dick and he was really bad in bed. The second one was amazing, down and dirty, exactly what I wanted and what he promised he would be. I'm going to fuck him again, as many times as he wants. He is a popular Lit member too and people would be very surprised to know what we were doing. But I will never tell anyone, even people that I think are my friends here, because of what I said above.
