It's the month when they teach about Jamestown and Plymouth Rock.

Renard, I don't know what race you are, but wanting a "white" history month isn't going to happen because for some reason, even though we, from the woodlands to the plains to the coast, are all lumped under "Native American" and everyone from the Bantu tribe to the Jamaican Islanders are lumped under "black" for some reason white folk felt that their tribe or clans or whatever deserved separate months. Irish history month is in April, Nordic history month is in February, etc etc. There is literally a different "white history month" that is celebrated every month. That is why people say that 'every month is white history month' because it literally is. Not because we teach primarily white history, but because there are recognized ethnic history months for individual types of vanilla.

Meanwhile, we just get November and we don't bitch about how they gave us the one with Thanksgiving so we wouldn't get two holidays.

Everybody gets a month EXCEPT for one major group.

What message does that send to white youth? They are already a minority in most public schools. Then they have to sit there and listen to how evil their ancestors supposedly were, while every other group gets a special month to be proud.

Many white youth are driven to suicide by the lack of white history or heritage month.

I did a report on George Washington Carver in elementary school, I think in 1979 maybe. I'm not making this up, it was a 5 page report or something. We got assigned important historical figures to write about. Black history was fully integrated into the curiculum of the school and it was mostly a white and Asian (philipino and Vietnamese) school. Few blacks, but we still studied black history.

The idea that "mainstream history already includes white history" while "excluding other groups" has been totally bogus since BEFORE these special history months for various groups except whites popped up. There's never been a justification for these months if its trying to say that these groups need a special month because they are left out of mainstream history. If the reason for these months is simply to celebrate heritage and promote pride then how can the establishment possibly justify leaving out one obvious group? Its totally insane and outrageous.
