My crochet thread

Nice stitch and scarf..What size hook are you using?

I'm always jealous of those who can do the Tunisan stitch and not have it curl. I just do not have the patience for crocheting anymore, I use to love it though.

Sweetie, the Tunisian stitch curls. You must put an edge on it. My scarf curls, it doesn't have a single stitch edge yet.

Good to know that it's not just me!! I gave up crocheting though, I prefer my sewing machine now.

i'm having a bitch of a time learning the granny square. It is supposed to be easy. The lady on the video makes it look so easy but I want to rip someone's head off.

It took me a long time to learn it as well, I ended up having my grandmother show me how to do it, and then sit there with me while I made one.

That scarf is lovely, by the way.

Thank you, Im quite proud of it but honestly, I'm burnt out on it. i should finish it but I am so tired of making it. i can only work on it for very short periods of time now.

and by the way I did it with a slip stitch and chaining 4. It creates a loopy edge. It's not finished yet.

Nice, do you think I should post some of the lingerie I am working on?
Working on some Victorian heirloom stuff for summer .

I crocheted one time. I got overly excited and made a blanket that fits a king sized bed. I didn't realize that the first line you make is the width, not the length. Then I just rolled with it. I haven't tried it since. You're so much better than I was. Lovely scarves. :)

That really is beautiful. My mom loved to crochet and I still have the afghans she made me. I'm left-handed so trying to learn this stuff makes me crazy as I have to reverse the instructions. I wish I were better at it.

Very nice
Mom taught my sister and I
how to knit, crochet and sew.

As someone above said
I now prefer my sewing machine

you could have turned it so that was the length and just done it lengthwise instead. :)

i love granny squares! not sure why they cause problems for people but they do.

i had to laugh that I found a crochet thread on here though. :)

Cause I go against the grain and the GB lurves me for it.
