Okay the original idea either sucks or is missing a vital word or two. Why in the eleven frozen hells would a lawyer accept sex from a prisoner? Is she like a public defender and she's not so much taking it as payment as she is taking advantage of an attractive (presumably innocent but maybe not) prisoner by either claiming she'll waive his fees or that she'll come down with a sudden case of incompetence when she does it.
Is she getting PAID for sex? I can easily buy that there are guys who are sufficiently high up in the Mafia or simply well connected enough that women might take money from them to work on "appeals" for a several hours a week. Hell saying that outloud the only reason I don't think that happens is I bet anybody THAT high up is probably in comfy jail and when he wants a woman he tells the guard to bring him a pornstar hiring list and shit just gets done.

I'm thinking that the getting paid aspect sounds good, but to keep it really interesting, maybe she has to rack up a certain number of hours at her firm, its nearing the end of the year, and she's getting desperate. Normally, he's not the type of client that she works with but she needs the hours and the money.

Maybe there's an experimental prison trying to lower recidivism or violence rates, and someone had the idea of trying to keep the prisoners tamed through allowed them sexual access for good behavior, and the story follows a broke, indebted woman (who else would take the job?) as she goes through the process?

I can't see a situation where a female lawyer would submit to thi sif there wasn't something already hanging over her head as several people have already mentioned. At that point she's not doing it for the money anymore she's doing it instead of whatever the other thing that could happen is.

Perhaps she's a court appointed attorney that just has a prisoner/thug fetish. Can't see many inmates turning her down, especially if she's even moderately attractive. This is a really interesting premise! First, there's a bit of a gender reversal here. Second, the prostitution is not about money. Third, the Lawyer is paradoxical position in which she has power (she's got the law); but she's also dependent on these men (their her fetish, addiction, etc).
An interesting amp up for this might be that she presents herself to the world as a passionate, non-profit, lawyer. Someone who exhumes moral goodness.

Here's one that sounds, at least to me totally plausible.
