Happy Sunday, wet and rainy here but that makes it a good day to do homework. Semester classes end this week and finals will be done by the end of the week. Got my acceptance letter from VA Tech so that's where I'll be going in the fall :D .

Less than a fortnight to go, Red! :);)
:D  :D

Congrats!! My daughter is getting closer and closer to her goal for her missions trip and she's almost earned her first semester cost for college as well. I try hard not to think of her heading to Argentina in the summer.

Morning RED, you're up early.

I've been pulling a semi all-nighter, trying to get as much writing done as I can. I am finally thinking clear and have completed two pieces with a third well underway. I want to see if I can do 5 a day and be done for Wednesday - Friday latest.

Thanks!

Congrats to your daughter, sounds like she's really busting her butt for this!

Nah, I was online early, but not up early. Kids get up for school at 6:30. I just don't usually pop online that early these days.

Glad you've got some writing done.

Thanks!

You're welcome and thanks! She's worked very hard and will find out on the 8th if she's received any of our local scholarships and later in June she'll find out about the ones that the whole nation can apply for.

LOL. You know what I'm talking about. ;)

Ohhh it took me a moment, but yes, now I do and you hush. :p

I got a lot of writing done, although not much today. However, all errands are done and I will be relaxing a bit before too long, then at it again tonight, aiming towards as much as I did then (4 pieces)

I got my living room spic'n span and my kitchen almost there. I also took a call from a job interview that I did on Friday and if all checks out well with my Driver's License, then I shall be the newest employee at an auto parts dealership tomorrow. :) I do have two financial claims from 2008 and 2010 that would effect insurance rates, but that's not something that is on the BMV report. I have zero points on that. :-D We'll see what tomorrow is like.

Seriously?!? Woohoo! I'm praying for you!

Good luck RED. Just after we finished dinner, it felt as if my shoulder was about to tear away from my arm (I injured it years ago) I came home and took meds and grabbed a nap. I will not write much until the pain is about 90% gone.

Oh Brett that sucks. I'm still fighting my rotator cuff injury

That's what mine is SCENT - 15 years later. I was told it will never heal and might some day require surgery.

Most days, it isn't there or is manageable. Right now, it's at about 50%. When I came home from dinner, it was at about 90%. I won't work hard until it goes back down.

Thank you SCENT. :rose:

Thanks! My spouse was in there the other day picking up parts for his work, and they had a sign posted for a couple positions. So he talked to the manager and told him about me and my obsession for detail regarding paperwork, as well as how I'm looking to get back into the work force. I went in Friday to fill out an application and ended up meeting with the manager and doing an on the spot interview for about 45-60 min. :) I'll be there all day today and I'm hoping everything goes smoothly with the BMV check, since I'll most likely be a delivery person and not a counter worker.

Thanks Brett. I hope you get to feeling better too.

Good luck! RevHeadandFriendly!

Thank-you. :D

I hope the new job is a success for you, I know you can use the added income.

I am a bit better but took the pain meds. Unfortunately, they do tend to make me a bit stoned once they kick in (and sleepy) Once I get up, should be fine.

Thanks Brett, it will plus it's something that will fill my days besides sitting on the computer, or sitting and doing crafts. Yet, it still leaves plenty of time to do that stuff too. :D

Yes, because too much work leaves little balance RED. I am finding that out. Being on the computer and writing is my work and I need some time away. I took a bit this week and now I have until tomorrow to finish the writing. I have to write 8 in the next two days, although they're the shorter stories. Finished two this morning so if I keep going, I should make it. Trouble is, I am short on ideas so hope something occurs to me when I hit my story files.

It is definitely a job with the perfect hours for me and my family. I will need to bring some sunglasses for driving around and start wearing sunscreen more often since I'm practically living outside during the day. Today my eyes are sore and I feel slightly sunburned.

So it's a job?

Hurray. Congratulations!!!

Sunglasses and sunscreen PF5000 are mandatory

My congrats on the job RED and yes, be careful about burning. As an ex-ginger with still-pale skin, I myself still tend to burn easily.
