So if Muslims in America started organizing militias...

I can say it.

Why be so scared of a national firearms database? You can always buy more guns to protect yourself from the gun-swipers, right?

I've found that your typical handgun owner is frightened by any number of things, this is just one more reason to get their man-panties in a twist.

I can say it.
Sure, because you don't own a firearm. Typical American Unenlightened Self-Interest.

Why be so scared of a national firearms database?
For one thing, I don't think I ought to have to go to prison for five years because my house was broken into while I was on vacation and I couldn't reach Eric Holder in time, while the thief goes free.

For another thing, we have a President who opines that he doesn't think that private citizens should be allowed to own any guns at all, and that idea can never be realized without a National Firearms Database.

You can always buy more guns to protect yourself from the gun-swipers, right?
Why should I have to buy more guns? Who's paying for them, you?

And no, you can't always buy more guns if they're banned.

And still they have not the cajones to simply strive for what they really want...

...poor lemmings do not realize their stark disingenuousness is the 2nd most relevant reason for the countering repulsion.

I'd pay good money to watch a stream of olive-completed women in burkas filling out all the required paperwork at the gun counter of our local WalMart.

You would pay good $$$, To you its IMPORTANT to protect your KILLERS

Burqa Bandit

Creeping Sharia

Another burqa robbery in the U.S., this time Maryland

No better disguise than that of a protected class who can not be questioned without fear of legal jihadists. via Female impersonator robs liquor store wearing burqa.

BEL AIR, Md. – A burqa-wearing man pretending to be a woman is in police custody after an armed robbery and dramatic police chase Friday afternoon.

Police say around 3 p.m. Harford County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Third Base Liquors on South Fountain Green Road in Bel Air for a report of a robbery. When officers arrived witnesses told them a man wearing a burqa covering his entire face except for his eyes entered the store and asked the clerk about beer.

Police say the man altered his voice to sound like a woman and chose a case of beer. As the clerk leaned over to pick up the beer the fake lady flashed a gun and announced a hold up.

The clerk gave the burqa-wearing female impersonator an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber left the store and jumped into a white SUV.

Police say an alert passerby noticed something strange, copied down the tag number and reported it to authorities. MORE

"Her" reaching for the beer should have clued him into something being astray.

So now you want the government to pay for your gun habit?

You do know that most people that own handguns already have them registered, right? It's called insuring them, right? You do insure your guns, in case, oh I don't know, they're taken in a break-in or destroyed in a fire, right? Or are yours not insured because you don't believe in insurance?

Oh, they're striving just fine.

But they aren't going to announce what they're striving at.

These sorts of things are accomplished slowly and incrementally, lest the frog jump out of the pot.

^^Just when you thought he couldn't get much lamer.

It's alright:

Now confronted with posting yet another patently-groundless claim fabricated all by his lonesome...

...he'll just again blame his Catholic schooling or some other external party for his native disingenuousness.

*shakes head*

In a debate, it's best to show evidence for your opposing views, yet you and koala just middle school and call names or try to draw anger out.

You're both adults, you should act accordingly.

*rolls friggin' eyes "accordingly" *

You've continually proven you couldn't "debate" yourself off your mommy's nipple...

...for your subjectivity (as clearly illustrated in your baseless "insurance" claim above) entirely rules you.

Why don't you adult-up by following your own advice first and show us "evidence" of your disingenuous claim above...

...as it should be truly very simple to bring to the Board elementary facts of what you charge.

(The # of guns in America and the # of them insured...

...you can do that, right?)

Walk the talk...

...or you're just another punk of the lemming herd.

For another thing, we have a President who opines that he doesn't think that private citizens should be allowed to own any guns at all, and that idea can never be realized without a National Firearms Database.

That idea can never be realized with a National Firearms Database either if a sizable number of people opposed the confiscation of their firearms. How long do you think it would take to execute search warrants for every house, office building, barn, tool shed and parked car in the country? And how many tens of thousands of guns would be missed in those searches nonetheless?

It's also why Reid's bill won't be passed and, if passed anyway, won't be enforced. Law enforcement doesn't have time for such meaningless witch hunts. Gun owners will simply say they sold their guns in a private sale prior to the law taking effect and then get their guns back from their non-gun owning buddies like me right after the cops leave.

Furthermore, since federally licensed firearms dealers are required to keep transaction records for 20 years (in a volume no more "retriever friendly" than a "bound book"), how will the feds find gun owner Bill Smith of Richmond, Virginia who moved to Seattle 15 years ago?

The IRS doesn't exist and tax cheaters aren't sent to jail because Congress passed the tax code. The tax system "works" because a majority of American citizens agree to be taxed.

As long as it takes a British Bobby, it is not required. It wouldn't be here either if it passed. Saying you lost all your guns in a boating accident works better. ;)
