How To -Rating?

Stupid question, I know, but how do you undo or change the rating you gave on a story?

I'm on an IPad and I mistakenly pressed and gave a low rating to a story I actually have on my favorites. I tried to just press the 5 star, but it won't change.

How do you change it or does it just stay that score permanently??
Any help will be appreciated

star fire, i'm afraid that if you were logged into your lit account, there's no way to change this: it would count as double-voting on the story.

if you like however you could probably log out and vote on the story, or indeed even create an alternate login to vote the way you intended--although this would probably constitute a form of voting fraud.

Perhaps a "good" comment and an apology would help. And I've done the same thing.

If the story is mostly getting 4s/5s and you voted a '1', don't sweat it: your vote will be removed the next time they sweep for bogus/malicious votes.
