Well I believe I already told you about the person I met. It went well. It was awkward at first, but they were really sweet and we've gotten together a number of times since then. (They'll be here later this summer aswell)

I hope you enjoy yourself and I hope it goes well. The most I would say is be casual, but be CAREFUL.

You're a little smarty so I know you've done your investigation well in advance, but we all love you and want you to stay safe.

I did - and it was a truly astonishing feeling - I haven't felt such butterflies since I was a teenager. She picked me up in her car, and we drove along, kind of speechless that it had really happened. She had to watch the road, but i couldn't take my eyes off her. She was gorgeous. I was stroking her hair - not in a 'sexy' way, simply needing the feeling of contact.

What was really strange about it was that we'd chatted online, and skyped so we knew each other well -we'd played. So to be sitting there, stroking her hair, and this thought kept flashing through my mind - "I've seen ...[you can fill in the gaps]." Rather than making it easier to do anything - it made me oddly shy.

We drove to a park, parked the car and climbed out. We walked, hand in hand, and then stopped, and hugged. I kissed her on the cheek, and then, the inevitable thing we both ached for - our lips met. The floodgates burst, and it was simply magical.

It brings a lump to my throat. It was like the perfect wave, or the perfect storm...

Sounded a bit odd when I first read it, but then I remembered that I actually know TWO couple who met on Lit and are now married.
(One even had a live webcam in the chapel so selected Lit friends could watch the ceremony.

I got to meet a fellow Lit-ster in person a couple of years ago. She came out to the Renaissancefestival where I had a shop set up - the one near you, in fact! I was rather giddy and nervous, but I really needn't have been. We were friends, and friends only. I had admired her pictures, certainly, along with dozens of her other admirers. Not unlike you, in fact. But we had connected intellectually, too, so she agreed to a visit.

We shook hands and exchanged a few pleasantries, and I showed her what I sell, which involves hair. She joked a little about her mane. and we laughed and that was it. All nervousness was gone, and we talked and talked and talked. I swear, she was a female version of me! It was amazing, in an eerie sort of way, but wonderful just the same. She doesn't come on Lit much anymore, if at all, but we're still friends on Facebook.

I hope you meeting goes like that or better! My suggestion would be to meet in a public place, and to stay in a public place for this meeting, even if things seem to be going well. Can't wait to hear how things turn out!
