I too have had my share of bad reviews. But a few good ones. Perhaps the ones that liked my work were high on something.

But Jen....know you have touched this fellow RORY in some way. The opposite of love is not hate....hate is an emotion based on reason. Envy, jealousy, bitterness, and so on. He has some reason for attacking you.

So the opposite of love and appreciation is apathy. I have to question why he works so hard to read and dissect your work. If it's that bad why bother?

Guess I'm lazy, because if the story doesn't hold my interest I just stop reading and look for another. I had to suffer through enough storied I didn't like in high school and college....but there I found Cliff Notes......

But if Jen is like me she writes because she enjoys it. I used this to practice. Some say I sure need it.

I understand from a publisher that all books need editors....even Stephen King. And books from even the best publishers have from 5 to 30 mistakes in them.

Editing your own work is almost impossible, for you are too close to it. You know what you meant to type and read that instead of what your fingers managed.

And I have errors in this post I'm sure....

Best to you all but to Jen know I have been under fire too! Just do your best and learn from those that offer construction advice and ignore the rest.

Some people just are set in their ways and reason will not change them. I have come to the conclusion that many here just want to rant and rave. They don't want to debate and reason, they want to hurl insutls. So why cast pearls before swine? It is a waste of time.

I believe I will find something more constructive to do than try to reason with someone that only wants to argue.

What Rory does is simply the equivalent of a low blow using the fact he disagrees with her off the wall political opinions as an excuse to attack her in other ways.

I'd like to ad before the lifeless Rory who between him and his alts averages about 40 posts a day swoops in with another inane remark that I have never actually red a Jenn story.

I'll also add that in looking through his excerpts there are a lot of errors.

But.....

So fucking what? This is a free site, no one is getting paid to write here this is for many people just an outlet to write some stories and have some fun with them.

Trust me the average reader here, glosses right over that stuff, they are looking for the hot spots. I know because I look at my early work on here and shudder, but all the comments are "wow that was hot!"

End of the day Jenn has fun and entertains a hell of a lot more people than this jack ass does with his copy and paste information and his snippy little "I had behind a computer screen and attack people" strategies.

I also have no real "relationship" with Jenn and would attack this classless loser for attacking any author here.

I have no idea how talking about politics has become so nasty.

Why or how did talking about politics become so dangerous? God forbid you say something as simple as “I’m not a fan of Obama” and people will call you either a racist or try to physically assault you.

I don’t see what the big deal if someone is Red or Blue as long as they are pro American and Pro Capitalism. Just to kept this short, by no means do I support a system where we do not help those who are struggling; however, welfare and other entitlements should never be a career option. Safety nets are great and I support them, but we’ve gone so far left in this that even I have family members who use entitlements as “career” options as they can make almost the same amount of money by taking cash jobs and entitlements. If you are unable work, fine. Society should support you. If you chose not to work (you are on your own).

On the flip side, I’m not one to give something out for free. The proverb, “better to teach someone to fish, then give them McFish Sandwiches…..” yeah, I realize that this is more expensive but wouldn’t you rather help a family move up in life then stay in what I call “slavery”?

Just to be clear, I’m very anti government and outside of military feel that we have way to many people in government…and way too many people that are just putting his or her time in so that they can collect a pension. This is wrong, and pisses me off when I pay my property taxes…income taxes.

My last blurt, is there still a middle class? While pro obama people are shouting about how well the stock market is doing, but who is benefiting from this? Are you? I’m not?!?

Sadly, I think Obama has destroyed the middle class and now we have the wealthy getting wealthier, and everyone else struggling to make ends meet.

Post or email me if you agree or not agree. If we talk on the phone, I never raise my voice over such silly things like all my silly words above. My point, talk not bitch. Tell me how you feel, not demand I need to be like you and support your views. Different people with different ideas, different histories, different views make for a better America.
