How can democrats, liberals, leftwingers and women be so stupid?

Sorry about that James. I have a hard time recognizing you in this retard form.

To be fair they usually round up the trolls first. By the way I keep asking and you keep ignorning me when I ask how your shitty books sales are going. So how are sales of your shitty book? You know the one you self-published replete with spelling and grammatical errors? What's it called again? Amicus's Guide to Being a Troll?

You know all this climate change stuff is, like, real right?

I'm just going to post a bunch of stuff and wreck your thread now:

The Earth is warming and human activity is the primary cause. Climate disruptions put our food and water supply at risk, endanger our health, jeopardize our national security, and threaten other basic human needs. Some impacts—such as record high temperatures, melting glaciers, and severe flooding and droughts—are already becoming increasingly common across the country and around the world. So far, our national leaders are failing to act quickly to reduce heat-trapping emissions.

What is global warming? Think of a blanket, covering the Earth.

When CO2 and other heat-trapping emissions are released into the air, they act like a blanket, holding heat in our atmosphere and warming the planet.

Overloading our atmosphere with carbon has far-reaching effects for people all around the world—more extreme storms, more severe droughts, deadly heat waves, rising sea levels, and more acidic oceans, which can affect the very base of the food chain.

What causes global warming? We do.

The primary cause of global warming is human activity, most significantly the burning of fossil fuels to drive cars, generate electricity, and operate our homes and businesses.

Tropical deforestation, also by human hands, is another major contributor. When these forests are burned, they release huge amounts of carbon into the atmosphere and because the forests no longer exist, they are no longer available to absorb CO2.

Global Warming is Human Caused

Scientists have concluded that most of the observed warming is very likely due to the burning of coal, oil, and gas. This conclusion is based on a detailed understanding of the atmospheric greenhouse effect and how human activities have been tweaking it. At the same time, other reasonable explanations, most notably changes in the Sun, have been ruled out.

The atmospheric greenhouse effect naturally keeps our planet warm enough to be livable. Sunlight passes through the atmosphere. Light-colored surfaces, such as clouds or ice caps, radiate some heat back into space. But most of the incoming heat warms the planet's surface. The Earth then radiates some heat back into the atmosphere. Some of that heat is trapped by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, including carbon dioxide (CO2).

Human activity--such as burning fossil fuels--causes more greenhouse gases to build up in the atmosphere. As the atmosphere "thickens" with more greenhouse gases, more heat is held in. Fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas are high in carbon and, when burned, produce major amounts of carbon dioxide or CO2. A single gallon of gasoline, when burned, puts 19 pounds of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

The role of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) in warming the Earth's surface was first demonstrated by Swedish scientist Svante Arrhenius more than 100 years ago. Scientific data have since established that, for hundreds of thousands of years, changes in temperature have closely tracked with atmospheric CO2 concentrations. Since the Industrial Revolution, the burning of coal, oil and natural gas has emitted roughly 500 billion tons of CO2, about half of which remains in the atmosphere. This CO2 is the biggest factor responsible for recent warming trends.

We know that the increase of CO2 is due to human activities because the level of isotopes has decreased. Plants absorb C-13 at slower rates than C-12, so the fossil fuels have less C-13 than the atmosphere. As they are burned, the carbon is released as CO2, and the ratio of C-13 to C-12 in the atmosphere is shown to be decreasing since the mid-1800's.

Scientists Agree Amicus Wrong, Uselss, Contributing to the Problem.

1. When compared with pre-1800s levels,do you think that mean global temperatures have generally risen, fallen, or remained relatively constant?

2. Do you think human activity is a significant contributing factor in changing mean global temperatures?

With 3146 individuals completing the survey, the participant response rate for the survey was 30.7%. This is a typical response rate for Web-based surveys [Cook et al., 2000; Kaplowitz et al., 2004]. Of our survey participants, 90% were from U.S. institutions and 6% were from Canadian institutions; the remaining 4% were from institutions in 21 other nations.

More than 90% of participants had Ph.D.s, and 7% had master’s degrees. With survey participants asked to select a single category, the most common areas of expertise reported were geochemistry (15.5%), geophysics (12%),
and oceanography (10.5%). General geology, hydrology/hydrogeology, and paleontology each accounted for 5–7% of the total respondents. Approximately 5% of the respondents were climate scientists, and 8.5% of the respondents indicated that more than 50% of their peer-reviewed
publications in the past 5 years have been on the subject of climate change.

While respondents’ names are kept private, the authors noted that the survey included participants with well-documented dissenting opinions on global warming theory.

Results show that overall, 90% of participants answered “risen” to question 1 and 82% answered yes to question 2. In
general, as the level of active research and specialization in climate science
increases, so does agreement with the two primary questions.

Anderegg et al. (2010) in their PNAS paper, Expert credibility in climate change, used an extensive dataset of 1,372 climate researchers and their publication and citation data to show that:

97–98% of the climate researchers most actively publishing in the field support the tenets of ACC outlined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
The relative climate expertise and scientific prominence of the researchers unconvinced of ACC are substantially below that of the convinced researchers.

Furthermore, the authors note:

“A vocal minority of researchers and other critics contest the conclusions of the mainstream scientific assessment, frequently citing large numbers of scientists whom they believe support their claims…This group, often termed climate change skeptics, contrarians, or deniers, has received large amounts of media attention and wields significant influence in the societal debate about climate change impacts and policy."
“Despite media tendencies to present ‘both sides’ in ACC debates [anthropogenic climate change], which can contribute to continued public misunderstanding regarding ACC, not all climate researchers are equal in scientific credibility and expertise in the climate system. This extensive analysis of the mainstream versus skeptical/contrarian researchers suggests a strong role for considering expert credibility in the relative weight of and attention to these groups of researchers in future discussions in media, policy, and public forums regarding anthropogenic climate change.”

One wonders if there's an English translation for the gaseous explosion of bowl ringing anal burbling Zumi uses to assault the senses of civilized people. It sounds so loud and angry.:rolleyes:

There you go, talking about farts and men's butts again.

One wonders if there's an English translation

This would help an aging racist shitstain enabler such as yourself who chronically has a special-needs problem with the kindergarten basic "your/you're" grammar usage how?

There, their, they're now little Putznik, your effort to achieve orbit around the Blogosphere on the strength of your gaseous emissions has failed. When you come down to Earth, we can talk further. Meanwhile, Godspeed Putz:

Awww, was that a word you just learned, thought it sounded schmart with a needless capitalization and had to try it out like a new pair of pumps fresh from the store without knowing how to balance? It makes no sense whatsoever in your butter-soft attempt at a comeback as this site is NOT A BLOG.

Trying too hard, coming too soft. Even you've made better desperate wiffle-ball throws than this, soljer.

You're kinda weak without your little racist shitstain buddy to boost your seat up by the tongue, ain'tcha?

Strong enough to dribble you around before a hook shooting you into the shit can from outside of the key.

You can tell vette is a super racist white person because he can't even get a basketball analogy correct.

1. You dribble around.
2. It's a hook shot.
3. You wouldn't attempt a hook shot from outside the key because it wouldn't be logical.
4. If you're attempting a hook shot it'd be from INthe paint, the lane, or the key.

I thought hook shots was a floorball term.

I'm so white it's not even funny.
