Happy Weekend yourself! I am having a very productive one so far! I have been outside most of the day while it was snowing - and we have had the fire lit this evening!

Snowing?!?! Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

The other day I bought a new gas-powered string trimmer for working in the yard. The yard needs it. Grass and weeds coming up. 71°F here this afternoon. Winter is over for us and spring is rushing in.

It may sound nice now, but unfortunately I know it will not last long.

I am fearful that this will be another very hot and dry summer, continuing our drought. (here in Central Texas our summer runs from May through October) Two years ago we had a summer with over 90 days at 100°F or higher. Argh! Our normal is about 15-20 such days.

Anyway, stay warm.
 
Yeah, I hope Spring will arrive here soon! Still, not much we can do about it.

We have one of those strimmers, for the paddock Very useful.

I could send you some of our rain?

Rain? YES! All you can send to us. We are in a three year drought. WAY below normal rainfall levels.
Our lakes are only half full. Winter rain should have re-filled the lakes, but very little rain came.
The rain just teasing us like a bad stripper who ends her show and still has all her clothes on.
{Think about it. It makes sense, I think}

We had a two year drought even though you wouldn't have known, and there was a hosepipe ban but the week they announced it last year (around April I think) it started to rain and it basically has rained ever since!

Your analogy made perfect sense.
