yup, thailand. trying to get north quickly but i'm not doing too well. only get 15 days on a visa for a land/ferry border crossing. want to get to chiang mai by the 18th, my birthday!

In 1989, I recorded a stack of ads for 6KA
They liked my voice and my ability to change it.
(Mind you, I was also in the local theatre then.)

When I went back, it was interesting to see that some of my youthful....... uuummmm...... artwork...... was still visible on certain walls, despite having repeated attempts to remove it!

Today is a'me' day...... I am getting a haircut and a wax.
I don't do valentines day - if my guy has to be reminded to tell me he loves me on a particular day, then I don't want to hear it.

Very true.....It's just an excuse for retail stores to bump up their prices which isn't necessarily a bad thing for them, but like WQ said, there shouldn't be one day where you show your livean appreciation

Well we are both OK although BANDIT is stressed to the max about my colonoscopy on tuesday with fasting from breakfast & the clearout starts when I get off dialysis plus the last one found a large nugget to remove then told me to start back on blood thinners straight away which had me keeling over from loss of blood 2 days later & a rush trip via ambulance to emergency where the doc was on the ball & pumped blood back into me afer the loss of 3 litres +.....

So this is why BANDIT is so stressed As for me I'm just as stressed out about it all too.

My doc put within 3 months last March & only getting in this comming tuesday.

The reason for the massive delay the new government in NSW cutting hospital funding! with promises of improving the health system in NSW as part of his election plan.

I have been back from the hospital for about 1/2 an hour. Gil's colonoscopy showed something which could be nasty so he has been admitted for a CT tomorrow (I'm assuming they took a biopsy, I have yet to talk to any medical personnel myself and Gil was a bit out of it and may have misheard). He will meed dialysis as well.

He sent me home and he's still waiting to be formally admitted but I came home and got all his meds (the ones he is allowed to take anyway) and he knows what to take and when. It has been a bloody long day and I had to force myself to eat although I've hardly eaten all day. He would kill me if he knew I didn't eat. I lose my appetite under stress unfortunately.

Will update when I know more.

That is scary news indeed, my dad had bowel cancer a few years ago and they cut it all out and he is still going strong. Gil is another strong person so he will get through this as well because i know he is to stubborn to give up a life.

I slept better last night thanks to a couple of Mersyndol coupled with exhaustion. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon so I will ask him what I can get for anxiety/stress especially at night (don't want sleeping pills though, have never taken them and don't want to start.).
