Until I did the submission, I didn't know there were prizes associated with this. I figured it was likely extra points or somesuch.

Morning!

Ugh kiddo is sick and home again. It's ok because it's a half day today. I'm trying to get over my head cold. Dry air sucks!

Hopefully today ill get a chance to read y'all's submissions.
 
Sorry to hear that SCENT. It's currently 10 degrees here and I plan to sit back today and do nothing but create and watch shows on DVD. I am trying to edge my way back to my proper time frame. As RED will tell you, normally I am in bed at this hour of the day or just heading there.

Oh a night owl? Or problems sleeping?
 
A night owl, but I also have trouble sleeping - although not recently. In fact, it's been the reverse. All I want to do is sleep. On Wednesday, I went to bed at 3 PM and slept until 2 AM Thursday morning. Yesterday I got some things done, including the submission and went to bed around midnight. If I can adjust over the next few days, I will be back to crashing around 4 - 6 AM and sleeping until mid-day, which is my norm.

Yeah, prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Prizes are always nice. No extra points for winning though, but gift cards make up for that. ;)

I heard on the news this morning that another Flu virus is moving through. No vaccine for it and it's a very common one, the Norovirus (spelling). It moves through quickly, highly contagious and it's a serious stomach flu. :(

I am allergic to lethargy and boredom RED, that much is certain.

Never having won bupkiss (although I have never entered) I wonder how they handle us "foreign" entrants as regards gift cards? I looked at the tally sheet from last year and see that Geronimo won something. As my output is usually a bit larger than his (not bragging, just fact) I might actually glean something from this contest. I entered for the challenge, but I am not dumb enough to turn down a prize.

I believe all prizes are sent to folks as US currency. But don't take my word for it!
 
It matters little as regards US / Canadian these days RED as the dollar is around par most days now. In fact, we've even had days where ours is worth more than yours - something I would never have envisioned happening 10 years ago. Our dollar is so strong now, it's nice to see that.

I hope to finish around 3 today, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday - if not more.

I don't know claim to know much about currency and all that stuff, but as far as the US dollar not being all that anymore - it doesn't surprise me at all. The top dog can only be the top dog for so long before the top dog leaders fuck things up and I'm not saying it's all one man's fault either, like some want to believe.

*slips soapbox back into the safe, and hides the combo down my pants*:rolleyes:
 
When our dollar started to surge up (5 or 6 years ago) RED it was because things were good here. At one point, we were even 25 cents ahead of you, which was so cool after having been so far behind for well over a decade. I remember one time when the US dollar was almost 40 cents ahead of ours.

Off for a DVD break, back later.
