Hello,
Earlier this year, a story I co-produced and edited (but wrote less than a third of) with another guy was written and posted. It was a good story (taking place in the Dick Tracy world, a NC/Reluc story based on the character of Tess Trueheart and a small-time villain). The story was meant to be written as three or four parter, with the ending left deliberately open, but the other author has been too busy to work on it for ten months now.
Since I took a large part in the story (it started as a request from me to him on consignment), I was wondering if I asked someone else to write the sequel for me, would that be a faux paus?
The story has no OC's....only in-universe characters.
Edit: Every single idea in this story was entirely my own. The writer just did most of the legwork and I edited, added, subtracted as needed.
Note: I can't put up the link here.....since the story is on another site and posting the link would be breaking the board's rules. If you are interested in writing, and you'd like to see the story yourself, message me.
