~~Gallup's final poll

Why the fuck can't Florida organise an election with some degree of competency?

The only difference between Florida and a banana republic is fewer bananas. Their governor is literally a white-collar criminal.

Because a 6-point shift in a poll cannot possibly mean anything? Is this what you're suggesting?

Well skipping the fact that you are looking at Obama being behind as a good thing....

Since Sep 14th when it was Obama 49% and Romney 44%, there has been a 6 point swing toward Romney.

See how that works?

”Theoretically, there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed" Obama

Wrong Obama. That was his father, not the President.

But you knew that, right?

Vette, you claim that Republicans have a big enthusiasm lead and then in your next post you linked a poll that shows this:

Republican voter enthusiasm:

42% extremely
28% very
17% somewhat

Democratic voter enthusiasm:
38% extremely
33% very
17% somewhat

That looks about the same to me.

You want me to talk about this poll after the election is over?

That's Ishmael's trick. "Let's delay talking about this until xx/yy/zzzz".

When xx/yy/zzzz arrives, then it becomes "That's old news. We've moved on. I suggest you do so also".

Hey, it worked with WMDs!!

i'm actually very surprised that dem enthusiasm isn't double what this shows (assuming this is legit).

A +6 swing in momentum is a good thing for the Obama campaign. I never said what you claim.

Great for Romney but that's not the topic here.

You posted the quote and attributed it to "Obama" but you didn't know who actually said it?

Fuck, the idiot apple didn't fall far from the tree after all.

Sorry...thought if you read the second post you would get what I meant by misleading. I will slow down to explain it to you.

I made a misleading comment on purpose.

The part were I attribute Obama with out specifying JR or SR is what made it misleading.

Do you get it know or should I break out the building blocks?

Great for Romney but that's not the topic here.

It is the topic and you just do not understand it.

So is your 20 day trend more credible than my 2.5 month trend?

Explain credibility in statistics to me and how it is measured please?

Yes the trend I pointed out is far more meaningful because it suggests which candidate has the momentum going into the election.

88% are somewhat to very enthusiastic. You were hoping for 176%?

somewhat enthusiastic is tantamount to nothing, it's a tepid response.

given the enthusiasm he had whipped up in '08, i expected even more enthusiasm this time around among his base.

You're being a tool.

Well I am wearing an affliction t shirt today......

I mean, I could explain confidence intervals to him, but my guess is it would be a waste.......

Besides, I am pretty sure you broke up with me so why the concern?
