Bronze is my new favourite colour. Thanks to the folks who voted for me. This is the first time I've placed in a contest. My story must have been 1-bombed to buggery or something because I lost over a hundred votes today, I think, and my score shot up from 4.83 to 4.87. I wasn't complaining about the 4.83 but wowza that's a leap there with over 400 votes! So, thank you sweeper.

Good evening. The ouija board tells me that there are 152 stories in the competition to date, with an average score of 4.38 from an average of 168 votes. Stories had an average of 21,784 views, an average of 7 favorites, and an average of 7 comments. The average ratio of votes to views is 0.80%. The average number of pages is 2.9, with the longest story being 15 pages.

So far there have been a total of 25,673 votes, 3,311,183 views, 1,095 favorites and 1,152 comments.

The standard deviation of scores (from the average of 4.38) is 0.32 and the standard deviation of votes (from the average of 168) is 209. The median score is 4.40, the median number of votes is 89 and the median number of pages is 2. The top 25% of scores are 4.58 or above and the bottom 25% of scores are 4.26 or below.

Sweeps

Some votes have been reduced (swept) since the start of the competition. A total of 147 stories have had their votes adjusted, with 429 sweeps resulting in a new score that day which is higher than before and 66 sweeps resulting in a new score that day which is lower. So just a note to my good friend scummies my story now sits at 4.77 so a .06 rise after the final sweep (so after they erased your one bombs) and more proof that I don't cheat

On another note, I feel much better finishing way out of the race than the last three contests where I just missed. It really is more fun to just not give a shit.

I'm rather proud of my finish. 21st on what was only my third story and my first contest entry. Thank you everyone for you kind words and support of my story. I think I may have my plot bunny for the next contest so I better get started.

Well I see that darkboy's latest ALT has finally posted some numbers that mean something. His endless posts throughout the contest simply took up space while signifying nothing.

While not 100% accurate they are close to the official ScouriesWorld computer figures.

The most interesting to note:

1) Check out the categories of the most viewed stories (those stories our readers are interested in reading). The top 25 "most viewed" have Incest, Loving Wives, Non Consent, and Group Sex stories but I don't see any stories from Non Human, Sci Fi or Romance.

2) Check out the views of the supposed top 9 "highest rated" stories and compare the total of all nine to the number ten story. Yes it has more views that the other nine combined.

3) Check out the vote totals. By any chance did any of the top 10 vote getters win a prize? Well no..., ​

I'd been hoping we could dump it all on this thread and leave the next thread free of it but our hater has been spewing it out.
