i would suggest that 90% simply don't rock the boat,
obviously, if you ban or chase away everyone who disagrees with you then, DUH! you'll be left with a room full of those who don't object.

There's a lot of background of which the English side of Lit is unaware.

1) Before Peter messaged me volunteering to be a moderator, I was getting daily complaints that certain users were spamming the board and thus preventing other people from posting. Many users gave up and left the site. After Peter was appointed, a handful of users then immediately created multiple accounts to spam the German section with the same post over and over and/or to advertise another website - posting that they were "declaring war on Lit".

2) I have asked those who complain about Peter to tell me specifically what he's doing wrong so that I can talk to him about it. All I've gotten so far is, "Remove him!" If you can tell me specifically what he is doing - with links to show what's happening - I will be happy to talk to him about it.

3) The feedback I've been getting about Peter has been overwhelmingly positive.

4) GBer's may not realize this, but many forums do have special guidelines. For example, posts that aren't Story Ideas will not stay in Story Ideas. Chat threads are not allowed in Personals. English language posts can and will be removed from forums designated for Other Languages.

If anyone is interested in Private Messaging me and explaining specifically what (if anything) is going wrong in the German section, I'm more than willing to listen. If instead people would rather declare "war on Lit" and make random, vague protest threads for fun & lulz but not to actually change anything, that's fine too. Your choice!

The Translation of neci is not correct. Like many other things you may have heard about me.

In fact, i think most of the People at the General Board didn't care about me or the other German Guys.

Unfortunately, Byron In Exiles seems singularly unable or unwilling to comprehend the above statement. He attempts to apply "General Board rules" to other boards and seems to regularly get his hand slapped.

This usually wouldn't matter, were it not for Byron's near-pathological need to get the last word in.

That's why he's attempted several times in the last few days to start German language threads on the General board.

It's a shame that the converse of the English language rule isn't applied on the General Board, i.e. no German language threads here, but one suspects that would only frustrate Byron further.
