Will my stepfather choke to death on his own vomit while sleeping?

My stepfather is 60 years old, 320lbs, smokes several packs of cigarettes per day, and only leaves the house once or twice per week.

He lays on the couch, eats, smokes cigarettes, and watches television all day.

My guess is that either he will die from suffocation/sleep apnea or choke to death on his own vomit/regurgitation while sleeping.

He is the fattest, laziest, and most pathetic slob I have ever known about in my whole life.
