It's always tough to bring this up to a woman who you don't already know is in to the same things you are. I'm kind of in the same boat, as I am typically very open with women I date about my sexuality. It has always been something I looked for first in previous relationships. I know it's hard to just go out and find these partners.

My success in finding lovers who embraced my sexuality came about when I happened to meet a woman who introduced me to swinging, which was very positive for finding like-minded women (and men). I built up a bit of a network and have found a few partners since then through the clubs we used to frequent and the friends we made so it made it easy to be open sexually. Now, though, I'm actually struggling with this, as I know my current GF--who I met through work--isn't open to these things. Our relationship is on the way out now. Not because of this, but it does have an negative impact on my part because I can't be honest about the desires I have. This is unfortunate because honesty about my sexuality is a rule of my own I've broken.

I decided not to make it my priority in looking for a partner, and I must say I'm not as happy as I have been in the past when full disclosure was shared between me and my partner. Try online, clubs, etc. but no matter what, be upfront if it is a necessity for your happiness. Believe me, it may pay off more often than you think.

I agree with this ^
If someone hid their kinks and things turned into a relationship, I'd be upset and feel led on. For example, I would never want to date someone into swinging, its a hard limit for me, I'd want to know right up front. Just like I wouldn't try to date someone into Asian women because I'm not.
