an alternative might be hotel bars, although the likelihood of encountering a working girl is probably fairly high as well. whether or not that's good or bad is unclear to me.

Create a new email account at yahoo or your portal of choice. Post in the casual encounters section of your local graigslist using that new email.

People will rant about using GL but used safely and with care it can be a excellent resource. Be prepared to exchange pictures but your face does not need to be included. Meet some where safe for coffee, mid day or afternoon meets are the best because you always have a plausible reason to leave. if things go good, set an evening meeting and see where it goes.

I use GL and send a face pic separate from body pics.
