The meeting I attended was both somewhat tiresome and definitely tiring. By the time I returned home, I was feeling drained and looking a bit wan as you can see in the following photo after I'd taken off my suit.

The first was taken this past January where I'm posing in my black, lace cami. I like how the heft and shape of my breasts show through the fabric.

I find posing for intimate photos very arousing and my body reacts in all the ways appropriate to those feelings. It builds slowly, but as the session goes on it is not unusual for my outer labia to become very engorged and open enough to let my inner labia come out to play as well. All soon become bathed in the juices that still flow liberally.

To be honest on second thought, the flow has diminished from my 20's and 30's. If the rate of decrease stays steady it'll be some decades yet before I'll have to try any of those nostrums hawked on those horrid day-time commercials directed at women who have experienced the worst that "the menopause" has to offer. But I digress.

In my 20's and 30's I was very much in denial at a conscious level about how turned on I sometimes became from posing for my photographer. As explained in prior posts it took me decades to overcome all the sexual hang-ups I had grown up with. What I was aware of was the physical evidence of my arousal and I was careful to avoid staining our upholstery whenever my photographer asked me to pose seated by having a folded bath sheet at the ready.

All of which brings me to the photo I'm sharing with this post. I understand that my photo may be of more interest to some of you than all the context I've tried to give it. To you I hope that that your patience in reading this far is satisfactorily rewarded by my photo. To the remainder I hope my explanation helps make my photo more meaningful. Last, this post started with a promise I made in a reply to look through my files of older photos to see if I'd saved any of the instances where I was sitting on a folded towel.

There may have been a reference or two, but, no, you've not missed anything of consequence.

Apropos of bikinis, I've only ever had one in my life. Most of my summers growing up were spent in and around the water when I wasn't doing my summer reading for school and pleasure and in later years waitressing for pin money. I learned how to swim at the public pool and went water skiing on weekends with my rich uncle's family on the local river. As a result I always took a very utilitarian and practical approach to swimwear. For those old enough to remember I was partial to Esther Williams suits, not at all daring or revealing and never at risk of accidental exposure. Suits for the real swimmers, not the sunbathers.

The last big vacation I had before I met my photographer was a trip to Puerto Rica with four g/f's. They hectored me relentlessly to try something less frumpy and I finally compromised by purchasing a two-piece that I felt safe swimming in. I still had it a few years later when my photographer took the picture in the following link:

My one and only bikini was a treat to both me and my photographer as a reward for all my hard work getting in the best shape I was ever in. I had gone off the pill and lost all my "water" weight. (Women who've been on the pill and gone off know what I'm talking about.) Some of that "water" drained out of my breasts decreasing them to a still ample C. Most days I jogged six to eight miles and substantially increased my muscle tone and stamina. I dropped all the way down to 120 lbs spread over my true 5'8" frame. No false modesty now, but I had a body to kill for at the ripe old age of 37. The following link shows me topping out at a full 6' in my 4" heels:

This bikini never went near the water, not counting our lawn sprinkler. I wore it sunbathing in our side garden, surrounded by a very high privet hedge. Modesty compelled me to ask my photographer to trim back some of the excess growth of my pubic hair so that there were no wisps escaping the edges of my bikini bottom.

This photo is a scan of a Kodacolor print, taken in one of our guest bedrooms. The prior owner had a penchant for green - carpet, drapes, gingham wallpaper - and we hadn't had time to redecorate yet. My sallow skin looks positively bilious in the color print. I've tried and failed to adjust the color balance and B&W didn't work either. The best I could do was the sepia tone you'll see.

I received many nice comments about the first photo from this series that I shared a few days ago that I decided to share another. Before the link I thought I'd add a few words about the series.

By 1983 my worries about having my intimate photos confiscated by the film processors had disappeared. The photos in this series were Kodacolor prints which my photographer took to a big processor near his office in Manhattan. There was never any doubt that they would all come back, including the ones showing my cunt. I, of course, had no idea exactly what my photographer could see when I was posing on my stomach to show off my cunt. So I spent the following few days in a state of intense excitement waiting the return of the finished prints. Even now when I look at certain of those photos almost 30 years later they take my breath away at how exposed and vulnerable I looked.

A few days ago I gave a very short answer to a provocative question asked by OQ about getting turned on during my photo sessions. A complete answer is more complicated than the simple yes I gave to OQ.

It all starts with my sexually repressed upbringing and the negative self-image I had of my body. I was, after all, still a virgin at age 24 and a half when I first met my photographer and had never had a serious relationship with a man before. That doesn't count the puppy love I developed for my cousin in high school who I discovered only years later was gay and knew he had been since he became a teen. Talk about how naive and clueless I was growing up.

Daughters always blame their moms for all their problems or so they say. While not solely responsible she did play a large part. From adolescence on she told me that sex was vile and dirty. It should never be done outside the confines of a marriage consecrated in church and then only for the purposes of procreation according to god's plan. By her standards the stereotypical Victorian matron was something of a libertine. Mom's attitude about sex and women's bodies was reinforced by the nuns in the high school I attended and later by the priests who ran my undergraduate university.

All that changed when I met my photographer. And I was more than ready to let my body do what million of years of evolution had designed it for. Still a prior life-time of hangups persisted for some years thereafter and I was not consciously aware of being turned on when I was posing for him in the manner shown in the photos I've been sharing on Lit. Subconsciously, my body knew otherwise and it showed in how damp I became. I was aware of the evidence, but never made the connection in my mind. Sometimes my flow became so heavy that I had to sit on a doubled-over bath towel to prevent staining the upholstery. This can be seen in a photo from Jan 1975 soon after my 29th b'day.

Now things are quite different. I know I get turned on posing this way and that awareness makes me even more aroused as our sessions go on. Most of the hours for which I bill my consulting clients are spent in my home office. It's a nice space, actually quite nice. Nothing lavish, but more than sufficient for my needs as a small business woman.

We live in an old house, built in the days when live-in servants were more the rule than the exception in our neighborhood. Off our kitchen is a lockable back staircase that leads to the servants' quarters over our garages: two smallish rooms with a full bath.

One of the true advantages of being an entrepreneur working from home is that I can dress as I please. No more need for make-up and a business suit like I had to wear to my office while working at my old company.

My usual attire in my home office is a pair of grotty, old sweats, most often barefoot. Sometimes when I know I'm going to play on-line I'll skip the bra and knickers and wear only one of my lace camis or tanks. That's where the lockable door comes in, but those are stories for another time.

Last month one of my more conservative clients insisted on a face-to-face meeting to review the progress I was making on their project. After my shower as I was putting on my make-up I had a flash of inspiration or so I hope: why not create a photo essay showing the mundane side of my life.

My photographer responded with alacrity and began snapping pix as I finished applying my make-up. From the scores he took I've tried to cull only the most representative, starting with the following one at my make-up mirror.

The woman who invented Spanx tights deserves every penny of the fortune she's amassed from her product. (Women over 45 will know why I'm so enthusiastic about them.)

I've come to realize that no amount of exercise is going to overcome the effects of age and the loss of muscle tone that's inevitable. For those occasions when I'm dealing with clients who are still so youth obsessed as I was that day, Spanx tights are a godsend. It's sad there are such corners still existing in the business world this far into the 21st century.
