A few days ago I gave a very short answer to a provocative question asked by OQ about getting turned on during my photo sessions. A complete answer is more complicated than the simple yes I gave to OQ.

It all starts with my sexually repressed upbringing and the negative self-image I had of my body. I was, after all, still a virgin at age 24 and a half when I first met my photographer and had never had a serious relationship with a man before. All that changed when I met my photographer. And I was more than ready to let my body do what million of years of evolution had designed it for. Still a prior life-time of hangups persisted for some years thereafter and I was not consciously aware of being turned on when I was posing for him in the manner shown in the photos I've been sharing on Lit. Subconsciously, my body knew otherwise and it showed in how damp I became. I was aware of the evidence, but never made the connection in my mind. Sometimes my flow became so heavy that I had to sit on a doubled-over bath towel to prevent staining the upholstery. This can be seen in a photo from Jan 1975 soon after my 29th b'day.

Now things are quite different. I know I get turned on posing this way and that awareness makes me even more aroused as our sessions go on.
