I did have a time machine, I'd like to go back and remind you to medicate, but in truth I'd be too busy playing around in ancient Greece or Rome and your situation would be much the same.
I'm planning on a nap. World must turn. I don't think I'm strictly in charge, but just in case, I need to pass along the watch.
Obviously I deal with pain through deep silly interventions.

As long as I don't have to do anything, I'll do it.
Hope you feel better, soon.![]()
That sounds like a good plan all around.
I will!
It takes a while, but I think the medication - ALL the caffeine and two doses of Imitrex are about to hit at once. Oh boy!

That's fair. I'd like to read in tomorrow's news that the Library of Alexandria was saved by an oddly dressed woman who held everyone off with a laser pointer.
RX medication can cause a lot of problems. I know someone who is addicted to sleeping medication like you have never seen before. I did not know it was possible; until I moved in with her...
Can I borrow the time machine when you're done?
what happens then? is it wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee or zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz?
You misspelled Robbed and attacked
It's not really bad, as long as I took enough food with the caffeine, otherwise it's a shaky ride.
The Imitrex kicking in is a huge "Wheeee!" to the extent that all the endorphins my brain wants to put out to counteract the pain finally make it through the backed up paperwork and get released into my bloodstream at the same time as the rest of the medication.
I just get light headed, really. And wide awake. Sometimes the Imitrex itself can make me sleepy (this is from a generic version of Imitrex, but I'll take it) and it just sorta balances out to lightheadedness. Most of the wheeeee is from the relief of the sledgehammer stopping and the mood and confusion clearing.
So it's not like being on drugs, it's just like getting my brain back. I like my brain. I hate it when I lose her in the fog.
Just be sure to fill the tank and set the parking brake; the last time you used it, I found it had rolled to the Permian extinction and it took weeks to get the smell out of the leather.
let us hope your wheeeeeeee is pleasant and makes the time spent wide awake worth every minute.
so, i thought the newer meds you were on put the migraines behind bars... was it just a case of not taking them on time?
*hope you feel good asap*
The world might stop while I have a migraine. Who is taking over while I'm busy wincing and stuff?
It can however detect when all electrical impulses are fucked up and pain threshold is reading -14.

I'm thinking we should just go ahead and close early.![]()
The brain is the only true friend anyone will ever have. It talks to us every moment of every day about pain it can never feel itself.
I'd go back to the moment of the big bang and say "this is about to get real."
You'll forgive me if I just think it's a stupid way to run an existence.
"Ow."
"What? How can I help?"
"Ow."
"What did I do, is God punishing me?"
"Ow."
"You have all this processing power and I don't even get a hint?"
"Ow."
"Fine. Fuck you brain."
"Ow."
Can't. There'd be no vantage point.
