Any good ones? I feel like most of them are either too clinical or too pornographic, and I find myself limited with regard to synonyms. What are your favorites?

I had a website bookmarked with all sorts of stuff like that but it was on my home computer, not my laptop.

I'm trying to remember who posted it.

Cunt, pussy, cunny for historical fantasy, little whatsit for crackfic. Panocha (a cake of sugar) for any Spanish-speaking characters I might write.

Sorry if words for female genitalia seem too pornographic, that's just the way our language and culture rolls.

What words do you use for penis?

Slit, muff, bearded clam, beaver, twat, tuna town, snapper, pleasure garden (18th Century), woozle, pecker pocket, growler.

Pussy, cunt and slit work best in stories, though. ;)

ROBGRAHAM, PILOT, DGHEAR, BOXLICKER are good synonyms for pussy.

Cock, dick, manhood, hardness, shaft...

I do like cunny, though. I might need to start learning more foreign words for it, though. And I mean, there's always metaphors, like little black forest. But I feel in general, I'm more restricted. I just feel, I dunno, weird calling it a cunt...

Slot, sheath, quim, folds ('slippery folds' is one of my favorite expressions), lips (or netherlips, although that may be more specific than pussy generally), center or womanhood (romantic/girly imho), dick-trap, vulva, moose knuckle.......

It could be fun to know what its called in various languages .....

CHOOT in hindi

PHUDDI in punjabi

heaven on earth

Really there is no better thing in the world than a pussy
It's where I want to be right now
Its heaven, why call it anything else

I've called mine (because my husband said it was) the gates of heaven.

Which leads to the obvious alternative for a cream pie, the pearly gates

Box ('I haven't seen Gerald in weeks, but I do still have the box that he came in'), minge, fur burger, cock pocket, serpent socket ... and so it goes on.

Matilda

Thats what I used to call my wifes pussy. Oh how I wanted to visit Matilda every chance I could get

Downstairs.

I used to hear boys saying "I was downstairs, outside" (or inside) as a description of how far they had got with their girlfriend.

i have no brilliant advice, just wanted to empathize. i don't love the word 'pussy'. it sounds juvenile to me, like the girl equivalent of wee-wee. i used it in my stories, though, cause of the lack of alternatives. in character creativity can work well, but not all my characters are that creative...

sometimes 'pussy' has a completely wrong feel, though. in historical fantasy, i think i've used 'opening' or avoided naming it, at all ('he slide in', 'she licked her', 'she fingered her wetness').

I like quim, for historic reasons. But right now, my favourite, and least vulgar is "mound"
he placed his hand on her mound, slipping two fingers into her slit" is basically what I see written frequently....*makes a mental note to remember this*
I also struggle with terminology....

some one needs to hurry up and publish a thesaurus of erotic words, or usage of erotic words. Preferably online, so when I google "thesaurus slipped" I could find and erotic suggestion rather then a more literal, non erotic, option. (they never seem to be what I'm looking for)

In Spain they called it a 'pilon' or basin. Think mortar and pestle.

History was much cruder than we are now. Except for the Victorians, a spade was a spade-- and a cunt was a cunt. there wasn't a lot of mealymouthing going on.

Cunt, cunny, quim, twat, hole, slit-- are all historically accurate. The Lord Rochester in the 1670's talked about "fucking the dry hole" of his manservant. He talked about women who wanted to rub away their itch on his prick.

For men; prick, pole, yard, (that's the beam on a wooden ship that is tilted forward off the forward deck over the prow) pizzle, beak...
