i have no brilliant advice, just wanted to empathize. i don't love the word 'pussy'. it sounds juvenile to me, like the girl equivalent of wee-wee.

This, exactly, precisely this.

'Pussy' is juvenile, stupid and silly and there's no call to ever use it when there is a limitless list of better terms in any context and for any style.

I've seen a lot of words I've used and many I've never used. I'm going to disagree with "pussy" being juvenile, stupid, and silly though. I'm pretty sure the writers that have used that word don't see their works as juvenile, stupid or silly. A pussy is a pussy. A cunt is a cunt. A hole is a hole.

It really depends on the content of the story, how the characters talk, behave, and the setting and mood. Some folks get offended with the word cunt, but there are many times when that word fits perfectly with a scene and the word pussy fits great too.

I use it often, especially in regards with more mature genres. I can see a 60 year old man saying "pussy" more often than calling it her "vagina" or "love box" or "slick opening".

My loathing for that slimy little word is biblical, cyclopean, brobdingnagian in scale. It dwarfs the edifices of the gods and makes galaxies seem small and ephemeral. My procellously soul-deep contempt for it is equalled in conviction only by it's pernicious omnipresence.

I also think people should use other words.
