People who fantasize about rape, are more about the loss of inhibition than actual rape.
People who have been raped should be able to read a story and tell if the author is fantasizing or has had experience within the realm.
I can pen rape either way, truly convincing infact I got a talking to by a teacher in highschool because I went that route in a purely fantasy story. (dragons and magic and such, a teen was raped by her stepfather)
I am not a sick and twisted individual who gets off on pain. I will give you a good guess as to why I can write it in all its dimensions so well.
Rape as a fantasy is a way to make it "ok" and avoid owning the true want. Its domination, aggression and generly in a fantasy about it, one does not imagine the pain that goes along with it. If the fa.tasy is a stroke fantasy, the male still takes the time to make sure the woman is turned on. In true rape, that never happens.
In truth, humiliation stories offend me a hundred times more than rape. Because rape is a very real daily part of life. It happens, and the victims are much stronger than anyone would like to give them credit for. Rape does not define the victim.
Incest on the other hand is about the anticipation. There is always the build up to the sex because they shouldn't, it forces the mind to think about it, then the physical tease, then the sex. Its often the best for stroke because it has all three stages. I am surprised no one else has noticed.
A priest story, or noble/serf etc. Has the same potential. Though more people can identify as readers when it comes to family. They know what its like to be a mother, daughter, father, son, brother or sister. Not so much with a priest, or king or other such things.
Kind of amusing that more thought is put into convincing the reader about incest than any other kind of story. Is it laziness?
Yes, I do like a good non con or incest story if its written well. But I am not wishing for these things in reality, nor do I typically fantasize about such things in my own free time. If you can't seperate the story from reality sexual or not, you need a lot more help than "banning" a certain type of story.
