Yes, I agree. And I absolutely loved the episode "You're Welcome." They wanted Gellar to do it, but they "settled" for Charisma Carpenter. And it was perfect.
Lol... that might be. I mean, the being afraid of women thing. The "take the torture on her behalf and the girl will love you" idea. Which is, admittedly, adolescent.I can pick on Joss for having a tendency to torture males, but it's not because he hates himself or is afraid of women so much as he just really...likes them and he'd rather take the hit by proxy.
But we can't know, really. All we know is that he's very intelligent and very creative. And that we follow his creations around like puppies.
