I hardly ever giggle at a man who has been injured down there. Except for one time...

I had been playing some basketball with mostly brothers...who coincidentally almost all of them happened to be brothers....anyway, these guys were hilarious. At on point in the game there was an injury on the court and the injured guy was bent over and had his hands between his legs.

Another guy came up and said, "is it yo hand o yo nuts?"

"Cuz if it's yo hand....I'll help ya."

The next day I was playing softball and I was at shortstop. A ground ball was hit to me and I threw the ball and it skipped on the turf a la Dave Concepcion. Our first baseman got his mitt down a split second too late and the ball hit him square in the nuts.

The first thing that popped into my head was, "is it yo hand o yo nuts...."

And I couldn't stop laughing.

I think I've been missing out on something here...even in my first forays onto the boards, admittedly the GB 12 years ago back before it had become as mean-spirited as it is now, when, in fact, there was a sense of community very similar to what the PG has now when it is at its best, I have never had a connection with someone any greater than one of friendship...perhaps it is because I have never hidden the fact that I am married and that I have no intention of leaving the marriage and no intention of physically hooking up with anyone from here, but I have never felt that type of emotional/spiritual connection with anyone here.
