Tonight and tomorrow night is the zenith of the Perseid Meteor shower in the northern hemisphere. The should be most visible from midnight to just before dawn in whatever time zone you happen to be in.

Projections are that there will be between 50 and 70 meteors an hour visible at it's peak.

I don't know about you, but I have a glass of scotch and a pipe set aside and plan to watch the hell out of this.

Wow! I did not know of this, thank you for posting it. I wonder if we will be able to see anything here with the city lights and clouds. I may have to wake my son up for him to see if anything is visible. Thank you.
