It makes me wonder what parallel dimension they're living in. If one can accept the idea that words are merely illustration tools by which we "paint" and then share our thoughts, if it is that difficult for the Chinese to accurately translate their language into ours, what must they be thinking?

I don't believe we see anywhere near that disconnect with other languages.
