Was in a rush cuz Literotica was going down. I was in a store and over heard some "women" talking about Obama Care and how Obama care has made health insurance free. WTF

Its hard to imagine that there are people, who are more ignorant than you TexasWife. They have become so dependant on living off the government. The simple fact that people have this fantasy of Health Care now being free, is nuts. I’m sorry but Obama has turned the country in the wrong direction.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all fore the safety nets.

However!
a. Government must not be the largest employer (not including military)
b. People must be self efficient and NOT living off “entitlements”

Now, what I'm saying doesn't mean that college should be free! Nothing in life should be free. When someone is free, well people don't respect the value of that free thing.

Just like Obama Care, Obama is doing nothing to address that problem either (cost of higher education - and the solution isn't tossing more money into that bottomless pit either)

Why can't we cut administrators and other "overhead" people? Why cant many services be outsourced and removed from the government enterprise? Government should never be in Power generation, should never be in garbage collection, this and that service.
