Every state, really, has it's "tiny spots". Here in NY, the Finger Lakes region, you find lots of little villages and hamlets nestled along the lakes. It just seems most people think NYC when you say NY.

This is true. In Florida, we have a place called.. and I am dead serious. "Yehaa Junction." a town so small, you can drive in one side.. and 2min later.. drive out.

Yeah, sounds like where I grew up. It was pretty much "drive up the hill and you've driven through town."

Its Yeehaw Junction. And its bigger than narcoossee used to be... but narcoossee grew.

I went to school with kids from Yeehaw Junction. There were only 15 kids on the buss and they all had pillows and blankets for the 1.5 hour bus ride.

Oh I've been a-googling and a-wiki-ing for hours now...basically I'm looking for a state within which its possible to find a small town (the kind where everyone would know everyone) or at least somewhere that was a small town in the 50s...have been looking all over...any tips would be gratefully appreciated!

Evening Britwitch....or whatever time it is over there in the UK . Allow me to suggest Massachuesets (Spelling anyone?) Back in the time period you're looking for you'd find very small villages/towns like Salem and the like. There was a big Pagan/Wichcraft thing that happened over in Salem (also fitting for your name ^_~ ) and now that Paganism is a recognized religion; the town is actually STILL a big place for it. Witchy-ness aside, Mass would have had alot of small towns spaced apart where the only people they would know were the people in said town or village. You can also pick almost anywhere in the central United States area with lots of open land and such and would have the same scenario.

Still, what idiot let Jethro name the town?

Now Now... Jethro graduated from primary skool. he's all learned and everything.
