We will take the worst french actor of his generation. And make him a scottish Highlander.

And (Arguably) one of the finest Scottish Actors of his Generation, and make him... A Japanese-Spanish English accented peacock.

Did you watch the other version that still sucked but not as badly? At least the edition had more stuff that made it not suck as much.

Also, Michael Ironside makes such a great villain to chop limbs and decapitate...

Think HL2 started a line of sucky Highlander movies.

Alien 3 assembly cut is my favorite, I think Aliens was ruined by Avatar, especially after James Cameron gave his post Avatar commentary.
 
I saw alien three... I know nothing about an 'assembly cut' and I almost never watch commentaries.

I think the only commentary I have watched is a star wars commentary that was on the VHS version of star wars I had as a kid. And that was only because I was a kid and I would just play dolls or something while they talked. :p

The Assembly cut is technically an expanded Director's Cut, except David Fincher refused to participate because of his bad experience making Alien3 with Fox. Its based on the screenplay Allen Dean Foster wrote the book from which is different from the Theatrical Version. When they released the Special Editions back in 2003, they still had footage that wasn't released int he Special Edition. With the Assembly Cut, they redubbed the actor's voices and fixed some of the editing problems. I think you can find the Assembly Cut rumbling around on youtube.

Getting a couple of tattoos, so I'm planning them out for next week. Got two nice ideas, actually, but I'm struggling to make them look as good as I pictured them last night. One endevours.

Simoultaniously wondering how the hell my three days off have evaporated like water in the desert since Thursday night... Another gruelling five days in Outdoor Retail to the rescue, I guess...

I might have a highpoint like last week's, though. Had a customer come in and ask to be fitted for an expedition bag. Not only did she try on loads, she also got me to fit them for her. This woman had a killer body, toned to hell with a balcony you could do Shaksepear off. Fitting the chest strap under those with a glint in her eye was a high point and an opportunity I should probably have acted upon.

Fuck you hindsight.
